Duke's has a fabulous setting on the beach with a picture postcard view of the Huntington Beach Pier. Unfortunately, as with many beach restaurants that have great location, I thought the food was mediocre.Recommended for:

Its an okay place to eat, but nothing fantastic compared to what you might expect for a restaurant in the heart of Hungtinton beach next to the ocean. I went with some friends at night, the service was decent, but the food was pricey for the portions. Overall the food was good and the beer was decent

Came here New Year's Eve with a lady friend of mine. Note that parking is not free, unless you want to walk a bit. Otherwise, hand it off to a valet or pay nearby.
The decor of the place and the waitresses definitely add to the ambience. As they say in marketing, sex sells, and the way these waitresses are dressed, they are certainly part of the Dukes experience. And hey, its a Hawaiian themed restaurant. If you didn't have a little skin showing, you'd be a bit off.
The food here is pretty expensively priced, but again, that's the marketed experience. You are after all, in Huntington Beach, next to an ocean, and if lucky, seeing a sunset and a lot of waves. I got one of the shrimp dishes, and it was delightful.
Outside of that, if you are in SoCal, come here. You can't go wrong.

Located right on the beach off of PCH in Huntington Beach. Great location. There's a great bar, restaurant and a patio with fire pits that you can sit around at night and enjoy the HB weather. The seafood is great, get some Ono or Wahoo or some crab wontons. Very good restaurant and good place to hang out.
