The have a good english book shop. You can reach it through the main store but it can be hard to find. It does have its own entrance on Mittelstraße.
If it is books on Berlin and Germany your interested in, i.e. history, architecture e.t.c then the Berlin Story‘s Book Shop, Unter den Linden 40 is was better.

Dussmann is an impressively large bookstore that also carries CDs, DVDs and other music. There is a two-story English-language bookstore built into the back. It's centrally located on one of Berlin's main shopping streets, and the staff are friendly and helpful -- it's hard not to find what you're looking for here!Recommended for:

A kind of Barnes and Noble for Germany, this store in the midst of the Friedrichstrasse shopping district also offers a rather large English section with a bunch of different sorts of books, from Dan Brown to Jane Austen to the PostSecret book. It's great if you really need to find something, or if you just want to take a look, sit in a chair, and read for a bit. Especially wonderful if you miss the American/British book store experience. However, if you want lower prices one of the used English book stores like Saint-George's BookshopRecommended for:
