Take your children on a happy adventure through Dutch Wonderland near Route 30. Opened in 1963 by potato farmer Earl Clark and purchased by Hershey Entertainment in 2001, the 48-acre amusement park sits next to Duck’s Lagoon, a cute creek where geese and ducklings hang out and people watch. The park is adorned with the facade of an authentic stone Dutch castle at the entrance, beautifully landscaped gardens and a water park. At this “Kingdom for Kids,” a pretty princess, charming frog prince and dragon Duke characters greet guests with big smiles and hugs. Enjoy musical shows, including Thomas the Train, and a diving exhibit. Ride a pony and Joust roller coaster. Take a pleasant boat tour of nearby Amish farms. All rides, even Super Duper Looper, are geared toward young children.Recommended for:
