If you like architecture, this an absolute must to see while in New York. If you like history, this an absolute must to see while in New York. Heck, whatever the reason, this is a must see while in New York.

There is only one NYC & there is only one Broadway. There is nothing like it anywhere! Although Broadway is a lvery ong street, most people think of Broadway as another word for NYC theatre. Broadway is comprised of approximately 40 professional theaters. There are several ways to secure tickets when you are already in NYC. We sometimes go to ...

This is one of the National Park Service’s park unit. This is the site of where President Roosevelt was born. This site is totally not accessible. The VC is in the basement and no way of seeing anything. Parking is extremely difficult with some point none at all.

I work a block and a half away from this park and it's a perfect lunchtime spot with several spots to lay your blanket and enjoy the sun! There's a Shake Shack inside as well (be prepared to wait) and a dog park as well. Add in the periodic art installations and music concerts and you have a really great ...

Very interesting on incorporating the history of art and sex. The evolution of how far we have come from accepting our sexuality back then to concealing it today as a taboo.

Get on this roof! It's amazing. And the pork shoulder and salad with apple were outstanding. They can make specialty cocktials upon request (vodka, fresh grapefuirt juice, st germain, splash of soda)

Best flea market in Manhattan! Enter the garage and find two full floors of great stuff. Lots of vintage fashion, jewelry, housewares, and furniture, as well as photos, magazines, and toys. We spent over two hours here and didn't even notice. We scored some French 1920s magazine art and a vintage Coach bag for next to nothing. Awesome!

    The 40/40 Club

    0.07 mi from Eataly
    4 reviews

The 40/40 Club is a reflection of co-owner Jay Z's affinity of sports and style: sports bar with a touch of class and a menu with good eats to share and martinis to sip. The staff is a little rude and impatient, but the drinks, food, company, and gigantic tvs compensate for their behavior.

The Chelsea Goodwill usually has some pretty sweet finds for a bargain. It does tend to rotate between picked over and ripe for the picking, so be patient and visit various times.

The park is really neat. If you read the history plaque, you'll learn that the railroad track was used to carry freight above and away from the huddle and bustle of NYC. As NYC changed, the tracks feel into disrepair and it was decided that it would be turned into a park! As you walk along the entirety, you'll get ...

This is my absolute favourite place to relax at in New York City. If you are hanging out in Greenwich Village on a nice day grab a coffee, lunch to go, or ice cream (cup or cone) and walk down to Washington Square Park for an afternoon of relaxation and vibrant entertainment. People come to this park to show off their instrumental skills while others ride bicycles, rollerblade, and bask in the sun.

    Strand Book Store

    0.61 mi from Eataly
    38 reviews

A New York institution, the Strand promises miles of books and delivers, on three floors and every subject imaginable. I love that it's independent, I love that it's a mix of used and new books. It's even somehow charmingly New York-y cynical that you have to check your bag at the door, and, hey, it makes for unencumbered browsing.

This old traditional irish bar is a dive but in the best way. There's sawdust on the floors, surly bartenders and they have two options to drink, dark beer or light beer served by the pair.
