This hotel is simply amazing. Besides being super cozy and beautiful, people are super friendly. Just perfect.
Try to get a room by the water so you can take full advantage of the view. Also wait to go there during the winter so you can use the fireplace to improve the grey mood of rainy Seattle.
Room service is good and the room itself has everything you need. In case you forget something - like we did - they will definitely help you out.

It's billed as Seattle's only luxury water-front hotel, and I can't disagree. This large, new, beautiful, well-maintained hotel on the pier features lots of amenities (gym, bar, room service, valet, outdoor decks) in addition to the luxuries of the room itself (plush bedding, turn-down service, mini-bar, Starbucks coffee, fireplace, data ports). But perhaps the best part is the gorgeous views of both Seattle and the water. If you can afford it, it's worth spending a night here.

My husband and I stayed at the Edgewater for 4 nights in a city view room that was located on the the 3rd floor. We travel a lot and typically stay in upscale hotels. First, I would like to say that the staff here were very friendly and the housekeeping did an exceptional job of keeping the room clean each night. The hotel itself is an older hotel and I would not consider it an upscale hotel but we still had a pleasant stay. The room itself was small and cozy with a great fireplace. The bathroom on the other hand was great & would definitely hold up in a 4 star hotel. The room itself I would give a 3-star rating. The TVs were not LCD/flat screen and you could see the age of the room. The pillows and the bed were not comfortable for us. The train did keep my husband up at night. I took sleeping pills so I slept through the train. We did not like the fact that you had to pay for internet but this did not take away from our stay b/c there were coffee shops in the area that did offer free wi-fi. The cool part about this hotel was it was over the water. We did enjoy our stay but I am not sure if it would have been so great if we had paid full price on it. We bid on it using Priceline so that is probably why I title it "a pleasant stay at the Edgewater". I think if we would have paid full price we would have been disappointed. I would stay here again but not if I had to pay full price....so sorry Edgewater! We do thank u all for being so nice to us during our stay!!

I haven't stayed at the hotel, but my rating is based on my experience at the bar and restaurant, Six Seven. It was a foggy day when we arrived so we didn't get to enjoy the view. The hotel is located right on the water with several spots where you can enjoy the scenery.

Really cool hotel right on the Puget sound. Great location: walking distance to Pike Place Market and all downtown shops and restaurants. You are also really close to the Olympic sculpture park, where you can enjoy great outdoor sculptures. The hotel itself is quite unique, I would describe it as a ski lodge on the water. I love the lobby with cozy fire places and comfortable seating areas. You can play chess, read a book or just chill. They also have 6/7 restaurant on site, try their Sunday all you can eat seafood brunch. Pricy but the best in town in my opinion. 6/7 also has a very cool lounge area for you to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset.

The Edgewater Hotel is a really nice place to stay. It's a bit pricey, but if you're looking for a nice get away from the usual hotels, this is a great choice.
The whole place is like a really fancy "lodge". The use of dark woods and decor really gives it a very warm campy feel ... but there's a grandness that gives you the feeling of luxury at the same time.
The rooms are spacious and decorated equally as nice as the lobby.
For a tech forward and somewhat urban city ... The Edgewater Hotel is a nice change of pace that allows you to easily unwind after a long day out.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers
