The picture house used to be a night club but is now a dedicated live music venue which rocks! Gets very hot but is a great venue for gigs – not too big & not too small.

    Bar Kohl

    2 reviews

I think this is the world's best vodka bar! Fantastic selection of booze, funky tunes played loud, knowledgeable bar staff & central location. The music is loud & the clientele are young & hip. The seating areas are limited. This is definitely not an old man's pub & there is a massive range of vodkas to tickle your taste buds!

    Ocean Terminal

    2 reviews

This café in ocean terminal is on the 3rd floor opposite Pure Gym. It has a great window view as it looks onto the Britannia boat. I wouldn't say it's very cheap but the portions are okay.

    Timberbush Tours

    2 reviews

Although the 12 hour tour sounded a bit long I remained entertained throughout the entire epic trip (we essentially went from coast to coast). The highlands were breathtaking and I may or may not have been overcome with emotion when the train the hogwarts express was based on passed us. The tour guide and driver had a great accent and ...

    Rose St

    2 reviews

Rose St is famous for pub crawls with a pub every few yards for a mile! Narrow & lively, the street is pedestrianised & has many eateries & shops. Some pubs are unchanged for a century & are Edinburgh institutions others are modern bars.

    Bailie Bar

    2 reviews

Live music nights here are such fun! It's a hopping bar that it is packed early. I stayed for one beer, and found the selection to be pretty typical (in comparison to the other bars I visited), but this one was one of my favorites as it was such a fun night out.

    Deacon Brodies Tavern

    4 reviews

Themed on Stevenson’s Jekyll and Hyde which was based on a real Edinburgh rogue. It is a rather traditional style pub with great ceilings. The restaurant is upstairs and there is bar food on the ground level. Very popular with tourists because of its location on the corner of Bank Street on the Royal Mile. In the summer I had ...
