Restaurants for Nightlife Lovers in Egypt
Incredibly atmospheric bohemian Egyptian restaurant. Supposedly loved by Omar Sharif. Definitely upscale but drips with atmosphere. The food could be a little better but is still quite good. Reservations a must. Be sure to take a map. A little hard to find the door but once you see it, it is pretty obvious.Popular withLuxuryLocalHistory

an outdoor venue by the nile river in Zamalek. there are more than 30 flavors of Shisha (including cappuccino) there and the food is good. Go for the Hawawshi a fatty meat pie that is full of flavors.

Taboula is one of those fallback places - you know the food will be good, the environment cozy, and the clientele classy and respectful. Technically, the food here is not of the Egyptian variety, but leaning more towards Lebanese fare, but don't let that stop you from enjoying a meal here.

I came here as my last stop in Cairo before flying out the next morning. It was a welcome change of pace after eating lots of local food for over a week. They have pretty good pizzas and salads and there is a nice bustling vibe in the restaurant. Like everywhere else in Egypt, the service was friendly and welcoming ...Popular withLuxury

We ate here twice in fact, once for Greek food and once for seafood. Reasonable prices, tasty dishes, nice views of the harbor, attentive service and.... they serve alcohol.

Sofitel el Gezirah (022 737 3737) In a city where outdoor dining is a rarity, El Kebabgy is a welcome addition even if it means eating at a hotel. Reserve a table closest to the water and order the mixed grill (a tender assortment of lamb, chicken, and veal) to share. As you’re leaving for after-dinner drinks at Buddha Bar ...
A bit of a decieving name actually. The restaurant is in Al-Ahzar Park which is facing the Citadel. Anyway it is a very nice restaurant but quite expensive as far as Egyptians are concerned. It is about the same as a meal in the US but then money goes way further here in Egypt.

Food was great and more than that, the decor and ambiance of the place was superb! Our tables were right on the side by the Red Sea itself, relaxing, pretty site, we could have stayed longer. Want to go visit this place again.

This was the best eatery I experienced in Egypt. It is next to the Alibaba hotel and the restaurant is built into a huge colourful tent. The sight while eating is soooo relaxing because the tables are next to the Red Sea. Of course added to this is that fact that food is great! We had a choice of food ...Popular withFamiliesFoodiesLocal
