The most iconic symbol of Paris...a beautiful architecture to view up close. Definitely ask someone to take a pic of you on the Eiffel Tower...and make sure they capture the view of Paris in the backdrop. Yes, you actually have to mention that based on my experience :O It think it is also worth spending some time in the expansive grassy area in front of the Eiffel to take pics from afar too.Recommended for:

I'm a sucker for the Eiffel Tower. You get such an amazing view of this gorgeous city. For a special occasion book a table at jules Verne. Book tickets to the tower online at least a week in advance to save standing in a queue.

Beautiful by day and spectacular by night. I can't even begin to sort through all the pictures I have of the Eiffel Tower taken from every angle and every location in Paris. It beautiful to look at, but there are also breathtaking views from above, and of the views don't take your breath away maybe the climb to the second tier will. It was difficult climbing all those stairs, but it's cheaper and it's a once in a lifetime experience. Who many people can say they climbed the Eiffel Tower??

It is so beautiful, it is magnificent and it is for all time and all season. I have taken so many pictures of the tower and never got tired of it. I especially love the light show at the top of the hour in night time.

I couldn't believe how big it is! Somehow from pictures I imagined it to be much smaller. It was amazing to see what is most likely the world's most recognizable landmarks! Not free to get inside but free to enjoy from around the city!Recommended for:

what to say? Everybody knows this famous sight. The city's landmark is of course a must see, even though the parisiens mostly don't like it. My Tip: get tickets in advance, if you don't want to wait in the lines for hours.Recommended for:

Paris- la ville lumière - “the City of Light”. The Eiffel Tower is such a beautiful and iconic structure. To think that it was once an eyesore to many and the French protested against it. This is a must-see when in Paris, going up the tower, dining at the restaurant, seeing it from afar, and the best time is at 9pm and after when the lights are turned on and they have a light show every hour on the hour.Recommended for:

I was fortunate enough to spend a few days in Paris with my water polo team. The Eiffel Tower was the most memorable of all the sites we visited. It was a very long walk up the stairs but when you get to the top its all worth it. The view is incredible.. I definitely suggest taking the time to go up if youre in the area!Recommended for:

No doubt, one of the most romantic places in the entire world! It is worth going to the top, at least once. When I was there, a couple got engaged. So romantic! The view of the city is quite inspiring from the top. Don't skip the view from 1st and 2nd stops.Recommended for:

The Eiffel Tower — it is what it is: a 19th century enormous iron masterpiece that stands 324 meters high in the middle of Paris fascinating souls and hearts from all over the world. It is the most visited paid monument in the world (as of 2009). Lights adorn the tower from sunset to 1am along with an 'illumination show' which alights every first five minutes of each hour. A visit to the tower is both majestic and incredibly romantic — a memory that certainly lasts a lifetime!Recommended for:

a World Landmark left from the WorldExpo...how beautiful it still is. but i must agree with most Frenchmen...it is over-touristic but hey..i am a tourist and like to go to the upper restaurant and platforms. to see the wonderful lay-out of Paris

Take a river cruise along the Seine to get more views of the tower and learn more about the history of Paris. Watch out for petty theft around the tower and on the metro. there is a lot souvenir shopping can be done at the tower but if you walk further away you can find more for a better price.Recommended for:

Of course it's a must when you are in Paris!!! And it won't disappoint. The only disappointing part is the line for the lift. Bring some tunes, your guidebook or friends to make the line go faster.
If you have the time make a picnic of it. The grounds are filled with groups gathered to share a meal, the view and some sunshine. If you are going to picnic stop at Sabre a wonderful Paris based shop for some designer picnic wears that you can use here and take home as a souvenir.

A man-made wonder. It is impossible to visit the Eiffel Tower and not fall in love with Paris. Ok that usually has a long queue, especially if the elevators are not working. But it is worth facing the stairs cause once up there the experience is rewarding!
