This place is awesome! Arcade games from my childhood, strong delicious drinks, and really friendly staff- wow. There is so much space and there are so many great games to choose from! Then you also have a fantastic cocktail menu. I stopped by yesterday and tried the n00b and the Wizard Mode. The n00b is delicious: vodka, lemon, honey, lemongrass, apple juice, and bee pollen. After hearing so much about the collaboration with LA MILL, I also had to try one of Cold Brew cocktails. The Wizard Mode has rye whiskey, LA MILL cold brew coffee, and vanilla black tea syrup, and it is SO yummy. I am already looking forward to going back!Recommended for:

Old school arcade games, drinks, and awesome vibe!
I tried the Princess Peach Cocktail and it was fruity and had enough alcohol. For me anyway! (Lightweight)
Streetfighter is projected on the wall above the bar. There's also Duck Hunt, Mortal Kombat, Tron, Off Road, Centipede, the Original Simpsons, Paperboy, OffRoad, NBA Jam , Dragons Lair and more!

How cool is this? Just like how we imagined after high school to be in an arcade and be able to drink beer. It would have been dangerous back in the day but in a bar setting, why not? Cheers!!Recommended for:

82 pimms cup is a great cocktail! The games are cheap, a quarter, and of course they have street fighter II! Chill vibe and a fun place to hang out. Took off a star because one of the bartenders was douchey... :( But the female bartender with short blond hair was cool.

The new hotspot in little Tokyo - cool arcade game bar with good cocktails. Not a cheap place for big groups or events as the staff was not very helpful nor giving with big parties. However, it's a cool spot and worth a visit. Loved the cheap video games and ambience. Would come back and host an event with different management. Otherwise, as a normal patron - fun spot.Recommended for:

games are very old school but lots of fun when you are around friends who also like to play. a great way to meet people who like to relive their child hood games. there is usually a catering in the back and today is pizza. they bring their own oven and cook it and it only takes about 2mins to make the pizza. there are also a load of beers and drinks by the bar. they also have a slew of pinball machinese too.Recommended for:

Old school arcade games + Bar = Barcade!
Props to the genius who thought of combining a bar with arcade games because this place has now become heaven for geeks and guys everywhere and why yes also the gamer girls ;).
Recently there was a video game themed event thrown at EightyTwo and yours truly dressed up as Chun Li (my favorite all time video game character). Now imagine the excitement when two cosplaying Chun Li's played Street Fighter as Chun Li Vs Chun Li. It was EPIC! We gathered a nice crowd and I'm proud to say I played Chun Li well as I was on a streak beating one player after the next WOOT! Can't beat that crazy lightning kick!
The venue itself is very nice. There's an outdoor area with heat lamps and seating and a sectioned off area where they usually have a food truck in the courtyard. There's two rooms (one for video games and one for pin ball). The bar and DJ are located in the video game room while the restrooms are located in the pin ball room.
There's a special list of mixed cocktails at the bar and I had the opportunity to try the "newb" and boy was that drink strong! It was a mix of vodka, lemon grass, and honey. It was definitely an acquired taste but i enjoyed it and got buzzed pretty quick! Drinks are a lot pricier here though.
My only concern about EightyTwo is the lack of arcade games. On a crowded night, there's ALWAYS a line for Street Fighter and some of the other popular games and there's definitely enough room to add more. Also, the security here is a b*tch, they won't allow you to bring food into any of the other areas if you buy it from the food truck. You are basically stuck in the courtyard area until you are finished eating and they will follow you around like a hound if you try to sneak it into any other areas.Recommended for:

The new spot that brings man cave to a whole other level!
Tons of different old school arcade games from Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and much more for what I would be interested in.
I was more interested in the bar area and the cool food truck outside.
As fun as it was, it is a popular new spot so try to get there at 8pm or even go around the afternoon time and grab some beer and play a few game!

Finally got a chance to check out this bar after hearing the buzz. Really cool place! Extremely spacious. There's an outdoor area and two rooms - one for the old arcade games and the other for pinball machines. Games include: Tron, Joust, Street Fighter, The Simpsons, Duck Hunt...
As for drinks, they serve beer and cocktails. For those of you who like their alcohol to not taste like alcohol, they make a delicious mojito here that kind of tastes like slightly spiked lemonade.
If you get hungry, Wurstkuche and Pie Hole are just down the street! :)

Really fun place to tap into your inner child. They have classic old school arcade games and pinball! Really fun atmosphere that attracts pretty much anyone which makes the experience enjoyable.
The only drawback is that parking is a drag -only street parking.

+++++ Update on April 7,2014++++
Was supposed to come here for a special private event. But due to management issues, our event got cancelled/postponed.
Well, I guess I will have to re-evaulate my rating.
I will take my business elsewhere.
Came here during their soft opening.
As we approached the door, the bouncer allowed a person to enter during the preview night. Sort of took away from being on the private guest list if they are allowing anyone in.
I wished the Street Fighter was hooked up to an actual game so we can watch people actually fighting/playing against each other.
Drinks: N/A. We just came from another event where I got buzzed.
Staff: N/A Since we didn't get any drinks.
One side was the arcade games/bar and dj area.
The middle was space to sit and mingle.
The other side was the pinball area.
They had great "vintage" (classic) arcade games from the 80's and 90's.
Not a great pinpall player so I didn't spend too much of my milk money playing pinpall games.
Overall, if you are tired of XLanes, and want to play games and be surrounded by adults playing arcade games, this would be a great option.Recommended for:
