When you make one mistake I will let it go, but when you mess up too many times then something has got to be wrong.
I think we have something in common to write about which is their HORRIBLE service! From messing up on our drinks, to our orders, and finally to our bills has got me ticked off to the max.
Our waitress did something that I cannot believe any waiter would do. How can you charge everything on a credit card while we have a stash of cash along with it? We even wrote down how much to charge on the credit card. She must be insane or just plan idiotic!
Onto the food, nothing but your average street tacos that you can get anywhere. Since it is at SR, they charge a whooping $9 not to mention the ceviche was $12. I am very disappointed with their menus. However, their drinks was on point and they sure gave a lot of shot in my Caipirinha.
Overall, I might come back here if my friends invite me for a drink, but I would never recommend this place to others.

Their Cinco de Mayo menu sucked us in and made a perfect start to a nice outing in San Jose. Had the Tostadas de Ceviche, fish tacos, and chips and guacamole. Extras will cost you, so be aware of what you order. Their margarita and sangria are amazing. Now I see why it's a hot spot here at "The Row".

Between the three of us, we received two phone calls during our lunch here, and both times we managed to make people on the phone believe we were in Mexico. The live mariachi band was playing behind us, and as we were sitting on plush lounge furniture sipping on muddled grapefruit margaritas, it definitely felt like we were in Mexico, not in the middle of Santana Row.
Every restaurant at Santana Row has outdoor seating, but El Jardin is the only one that is solely outdoors. It's a fab tequila garden, with an awesome margarita menu and the food is some of the least expensive on the entire Row. Everything is appetizer portions, but if you're just in the mood for a small bite, it's perfect. The street tacos are three for $7-9. The lamb tacos are awesome. The chicken flautas are tasty and tortas are really filling sandwiches.
They do charge for every little thing though ($1 for extra salsa?!) so it can be easy to rack up a bill. Especially with those margaritas. Get a pitcher to save a few bucks.Recommended for:Nightlife Lovers

Mariachi, guacamole, and fresh air. Nothing goes better with sangria (not too bad at $18/pitcher) and salsa dancing! There's karaoke on Sunday and Monday nights as well. Tequila goes out to you after a bold performance in Spanish. :)
