Here is my review of Groov3 @ Electric Lodge on Tuesday nights with Zoe:
Came here for an event and brought a pass to more Groov3 classes.
So, I guess I am semi-committed to exercising this year.
Parking: Free parking lot. Gets full so arrive early.
They have several spots for electric cars to recharge.
Our instructor Zoe is great. She is friendly and easy going.
She rewards us based on effort and not technique.
Sadly, my technique needs lots of work. But, she is constantly making sure we are all having fun.
With the dj spinning music, Zoe taught us a relatively medium level to learn choreography.
Zoe kept the energy high.
Each week, we are learning a different routine. So, definitely not boring. And, not the same steps.
By the end, we had sweated up a storm while dancing.
They had an awesome promotion for sale that I brought.
Groov3 might have created some future b-boy/b-girls. Watch out so you think you can dance.
I wished that they had a water fountain that could fit a water bottle easily.
Or, else bring lots of water.
The room does get warm.
Note: this class is for all ages. So, don't be surprised when you see some teens.
Overall, I am enjoying this class. I would recommend if you are 1) trying to learn how to dance basic choreography and/or exercise.
