What a fun resort feel you get when you walk in! There’s a spacious courtyard area with waterfalls, lounge areas, palm trees, a bar and dining- all of which the rooms wrap around all the way up to the 10th floor. The pool area is very relaxing and has a Jacuzzi. The doorways to the hotels have a certain European charm with glass doors and windows to frame it. The bedroom in the suite is sectioned away from the rest of the suite with a door. The rest of the suite contains a small kitchen area with a mini-fridge, microwave and sink. As well, there is a living room area and a TV complete with a video game console. The location is ideal if you need to be near the strip of hospitals nearby or able to travel along the highways, as it’s on the axis of 2 major highways.Recommended for:

Let the sun shine in! I dig the open air feel, and there's a nice bar just off the open atrium area as well. They offer a beautiful pool, a nice big breakfast and rooms that include a small living room and bedroom. Maybe a little pricier than some neighboring places, but you get a lot for it, including smart staffers.Recommended for:

An exotic environment fills the space at the Embassy Suites Austin. A beautiful tall building with open space, tall natural palm trees uniquely placed, water fountains, and small ponds with large orange colored fish swimming under small bridges connecting the entrance. The rooms are petite compared to the entry but functional. A bedroom stands on its own with a small passageway connecting to the living area. Each room has a couch, a dining table, a sink with counter space, microwave, and refrigerator. The Suites offers a happy hour and complimentary breakfast buffet and there is a Lynx Steakhouse serving dinner meals. But, there is always the famous Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse across the street if wanting to explore. The Embassy really does appear like a jewel in its own world.Recommended for:

This is a surprisingly accommodating business and family-friendly option in central Austin. The surrounding area might seem industrial and highly trafficked (it's right off Interstate 35 north of downtown), but the interior is a refreshing, and again surprising, change of pace. The lobby, dining areas and 10-floor central atrium (which most rooms open onto) are stunningly spacious, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating for complimentary services, like a daily breakfast and evening happy hour (5:30-7:30 p.m.). Rooms are equally spacious, with large beds and separate sitting rooms with comfy sofas and sizeable kitchenettes.Recommended for:
