Beautiful, very new facilities. Cooked to order breakfast is great but the pre-made items, such as the pancakes and eggs, were sub-par. Very nice staff and beautiful pool area. Definitely have a car because it isn't in the middle of the action but everything you want to do is only a short drive away.

The moment you step inside, you are transported to a new world. The whole interior is a beautiful atrium, filled with tropical plants, fountains, natural light, and an indoor-outdoor pool. They offer free shuttle service to all the parks, but you probably won't want to leave. There is an in-pool movie on the big screen every night, free cocktails, drinks, snacks, and slushies for the kids. The complimentary breakfast features a custom omelette station and a banquet of other treats. The rooms are expansive and well-designed, with full-length mirrors, a partial kitchen, and an extra sink in the bedroom so several people can get ready at once. Embassy Suites Orlando Resort fulfills all the dreams and expectations of a perfect Florida vacation.

This hotel definitely feels dated with its deserted tropical themed courtyard and fake plants. Luckily, they’re about to go through a huge renovation and join the modern age. The hotel will be closed from August 10th until November 9th due to the changes, but they’ve already started some fairly loud construction on the pool. The rooms are very spacious and will stay the same size. I loved how the living area, tiny kitchen and bathroom were separated from the bedroom so those who like their shut eye can just close the door to stay asleep. Families seemed to enjoy the pizza station, which had a friendly staff member who jokingly told me “no pictures” as I walked around the hotel with my camera. But I wasn’t really a fan of the area—the hotel sits right next to a major highway so there aren’t any great views.

Now. Let me tell you why I've rated this hotel as highly as I did. One word: STAFF.

Our visit was several years ago. The accommodations were just so-so. They were clean. They were what one would expect from an Embassy Suites.

Here's where the staff shined. Once we arrived in our room, all three of my kids started vomiting; it lasted for 48 hours. Must've been a bug they picked up on the plane.

The staff was so very kind during this dreadful experience. They provided us with extra sheets and towels. Water & crackers (FREE of charge). They always offered their assistance and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. I was so thankful and made it a point to mention each one of them by name to management.

The kids eventually recovered and we enjoyed the rest of our trip.

Based on accommodations alone, I rate this hotel with 3 stars.
