This hotel is not on the beach, but is just across one street from the beach. Since it is an embassy suites you have plenty of space and the pool area can't be beat! The pool is on the fourth floor so you have quite a bit of privacy and the attendants tend to your every need. You also get a free breakfast which include a great hot selection plus they can make an omelette any way you want it. There is also a free manager's reception in the evening and the bar is open with snacks. These 2 items are included in your room rate and saves you quite a bit if you like breafast and evening drinks. The hotel has a great location and you can walk to every thing. This part of Waikiki is the newest and there are interesting restaurants located just ourside your hotel. Highly recommend this hotel for its location and convenience. Aloha!

We have stayed here before and absolutely loved it! Great location - it's easy to walk to the main attractions of Waikiki. The Beach Walk has many restaurants and shops. Roy's is right there with excellent food. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and with the aloha spirit. Room is very nice with the separate bedroom. Pool was never crowded - maybe people were at the beach. It was never a problem to get a chair in a prime location. There was entertainment on a few nights with dancers and music.
The famed Embassy Suites breakfast each morning.Overall, we couldn't ask for a nicer, more reasonable place to stay while in Waikiki! We will be rreturning again later this year with the family

This hotel is located one block away from the sands of the beach. It's not one of the newest hotel at Waikiki area, but the rooms are all suites (includes a living room, balcony, and small mini bar area). I paid for a special rate of $239/night for Probowl weekend (Saturday-Tuesday; no view)...not too bad to split with three other friends. The hotel will charge you additional $20/person/night if it's over two, so I would recommend to be a sneaky and avoid that cost. Most of us are on a budget or saving that money for a Lava Flow!!! I was fortunate enough that the hotel waived that fee for us, yay!

If you want to rent a car to drive around Oahu, it's $30 to leave your car overnight at the hotel. The hotel also have an awesome complimentary breakfast buffet from 7-10am. At breakfast they have an omelet station, which I love, love, love! All their food seems fresh. I always find complimentary breakfast disappointing because the hash browns or potatoes seem stale and cheap bacons all around, but not here!

Another plus on this hotel is that they provide a 'manager's special hour' from 5:30-7:30pm where they provide complimentary drinks and snacks...all FREE! Its a great way to start off your pre-party all on the cost of the hotel, yay! Joe (possibly the manager) is the sweetest guy ever! He made sure we were taken care of at all times. He sent over a bunch of snacks, which includes chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our table, sweet!

Check out at this place is 11am, but we got to extend it to noon. The hotel provide a complimentary room for you to freshen up if your flight leaves later on at night, so don't forget to ask! Overall, it's a nice hotel that I would recommend and I can't wait to go come back to Oahu!

This Embassy Suites is right on Beachwalk street, 2 blocks from Waikiki beach.

There are two towers rising on either side of the bottom of the hotel, which on Beachwalk is where the valet and lobby are, and the other side on Lewers it has a walkway right into the newer Waikiki Beach walk shopping mall.

If you drove here, there is no self-park. Valet parking is $25 a day, with in-out privileges. The hotel has no beach front either, so you have to walk to Waikiki. There is a pool however, but not much view.

This hotel features the amenities that made Embassy Suites popular, namely large, spacious 2 room suites with free breakfast and cocktail hour. It would be a great place for younger adults to stay as a group, since you could fit 4 in 1 room. However, knowing this, this Embassy Suites (and very few others in the chain) charges $60 more per person per night!

Being a Gold Hilton Honors member, and this being the slower season and the economy being poor, they upgraded me from a standard 2 room suite to a 2 Bedroom suite. This was nice, as it could sleep 6, with 2 separate bedrooms and a living/dining room in between, each with their own large screen TVs. Ample space for everything, and at the end of the hall to keep the noise from neighbors down (there wasn't any at this time.)

Having a fridge and sink and other amenities at Embassy Suites is always nice. At this one, you can save money form eating out by just getting some beverages from the many ABC stores nearby, or leaving leftovers for the morning in the microwave.

But if you want to eat out it is close to everything in Waikiki and there is a Yard House by the walkway to Lewers, plus many other choices within 2 blocks. Shopping is easy too, with many stores nearby, the DFS Galleria 2 blocks away, and the International Marketplace another 2 blocks.

I only stayed here one night and didn't eat the breakfast or drink the cocktails, so I can't comment on those. And since I got the room on points (50,000/nt) I can't comment on the value of a stay here much.

Generally, I like Embassy Suites for business, and I would say this hotel is more like that than a truly resort hotel that are nearby.
