Empire State Building

I would recommend that you come to this place very early because there are tons of lines you have to pass through as well as security. The place does a great and efficient job in getting the people in and moving the lines as quickly as possible. I ended up coming for the late night and it was running. NOT ...

I love books and libraries, but the Morgan Library was even better than I anticipated. The rooms are decorated in the most ornate style, books fill each room and it almost feels magical. This is a great place to visit for any bibliophile!

This flagship store is the New York landmark sister of London's Harrod's. Sort of. While Harrod's has an almost multicultural "small world after all" offering of shopping, experiences, and food, Macy's is almost exclusively a clothing and perfume galleria. Still, it is enormous...and a great shopping oasis for New York visitors.

Macy's is the main attraction here, however, there are lots of small shops in the area that are worth a look. The small seating areas are a great way to watch one of the busiest areas in Manhattan.

New York is so great they had to name it twice. And several reasons for its greatness is its diverse and impressive architecture as well as its explosion of culture. Koreatown is tucked between Chelsea, the Fashion District and Gramercy. Besides its numerous Korean restaurants and specialty shops, there is a heavy presence of wholesalers. Some of these wholesale shops ...

When you’re power shopping, you often need to fuel to keep the credit card charging. But the area near Lord & Taylor can sometimes be like no man’s land for a drink or a bite. Especially one that won’t break the bank. There’s no need to fear, Cheapeats is here. Where should you go? The Ginger Man The Ginger Man ...

This is another bar/cafe in K-town. The setup is OK, can get decently crowded here. We come here to grab quick drinks once and awhile, but it's never a go to spot for the weekend.

I cannot express my love for this place enough. I love libraries, especially ones with beautiful architecture and a rich history. This was one of the highlights of my first trip to New York. I came during the anniversary last year and they had an exhibit on the history of the library and some of their collection on display.

Everyone should go at least once to see what they like, personally I prefer the Met over MoMa, but it does have a few odd/cool sections. If you go on a sponsored free day, expect a ton of kids and a crowd.

Broadway is one of my favorite places in New York. Being a musical enthusiast, Broadway shows are a must-see. Each musical has their own designated theater. I've been to Mama Mia, Chicago and Phantom of the Opera, each one excellent in their own way.
