This is the first Vegas trip that I have ever considered staying in the room vs going out to explore the Strip. And it's all thanks to the Encore. First off, the room (700 sq. ft) was bigger than my first studio apartment post-graduation. Everything was impeccable from the comfort of the bed, to the separate bathtub and shower, to the spacious living room area with gorgeous views of the city. Also, the spa, gym, dining and other amenities all contributed to the luxurious feeling that I was a high-roller, even if I am a penny slot machines loyalist.

I really love both the Encore & the Wynn. Not only are the rooms absolutely gorgeous (I wanted to hang out in my room while in Vegas - that should say something) but every restaurant has Vegan dining options. It was so nice to have easy Vegan choices anywhere you went in the hotel.

The club decor is not that interesting, but the highlight is the giant glass window to the outdoor part of the club where there's a huge waterfall. I find that it's always a little too crowded to get around the club though, and the dance floor is too small.

really loving these rooms and the awesome view of the strip. be prepared for a bit of a wait at checkin (no seating area). spacious, upscale rooms but the minibar is a total rip. has "adult" pool area as well.

We stayed in a resort suit. This room was amazing. The beds were so soft and fluffy. The bathroom had a wonderful tub, and a walk in shower. You could control the room with a remote, and the tv even said your name. The Encore and Wynn are definitely top of the line, and by far have my favorite whimsical themes inside and out!

The Encore was built after the Wynn, hence the name, and it is a wonderful addition to an already exceptional hotel. The pros of Encore over Wynn are the rooms and the spa. Both are decidedly better at Encore, so if you get to choose for the same price, you know what to select.

Same as Wynn. One of the nicest properties in Las Vegas, and with a price tag in the 100’s of millions it had better be. They have done a great job keeping it clean and fresh, most casinos start off very nice and within a year d!or so they look like quite run down. What a great casino to walk around in. This place boasts a great attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the pool is a lot of fun. Stop in and get out of the sun for a little while. Live it up, you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

Pretty much like its brother Wynn, but this one is one year newer. It doesn't had as much restaurant or a buffet, but this a good thing if you just want to gamble and sleep.

Five years newer than Wynn Las Vegas, Encore is a plush spot for your entourage to hole up on the Strip, or maybe just you and your sweetie. Connected to the Wynn casino resort, Encore has one of the hottest beach clubs on the Strip, plus arguably the most popular nightclub right now, XS, as well as the next-door ultra lounge Surrender where celebs and globetrotting DJs make appearances. The only drawback is its location at the northern end of the Strip. But for luxury, this place is top-notch.

The people and the decor are all trendy, chic and beautiful. There was absolutely nothing negative about my stay here. All of the staff was super friendly, the rooms fabulous, the food fantastic... really, I could not step foot outside the resort and be completely happy. During the hot months, get to the European pool by 9am to reserve prime lounge chairs, otherwise make some friends and offer to buy drinks in exchange for them. Encore Beach Club during the summer months is the most luxurious pool party in Vegas. XS is THE best club on the strip. Keep your eye out for internet specials on their website.

My group of friends and I had a luxurious stay at Encore in early March. Everything is kept immaculately clean and the service is excellent.

We checked in late, and unfortunately the hotel was unable to grant us the two queen beds we requested (very few rooms with two beds in hotel). Fortunately, they were able to give us one the next day and gave us a twin rollaway bed in the meantime.

The King room had a divider separating the bedroom from the living area, which was nice. I preferred the room with two queens though, since there was no divider (a big open space) and the air conditioning flowed freely thoughout the room (the King room got very stuffy due to the divider).

Both rooms had identical bathrooms with a small tub, separate shower stall, terry cloth bathrobes, double sinks, small flat screen tv with remote, and a toilet in a separate subroom. The main rooms both had an over-priced mini bar (snack food, sodas, alcohol, and an intimacy kit), larger flat screen tv's, bed-side controlled blinds/lights/privacy sign, an ipod dock, a desk with a fax machine, and a fairly large "L" shaped couch (moderately comfortable for sleeping on). There are many mirrors that make the room appear larger and floor-to-ceiling windows with a pool or north strip view. The beds were a bit to soft for me, but I don't sleep much when I'm in Vegas anyways.

We went to Blush ultra-lounge at the Wynn and thought the DJ/music were excellent. Beware of the drink prices in Vegas clubs though. They usually range from $10-$15 each.

While the location isn't right in the middle of the action, I enjoyed Encore's proximity to the cheaper gambling hotels (Riviera, Circus Circus and Slots-A-Fun) and the nicer ones (Wynn, Palazzo, and Treasure Island). All of these were a ten minute walk or so.

If I had to use female celebrities to represent Vegas hotels, this would be it:

Cosmopolitan - Megan Fox, super sexy, in your face HOT! not necessarily most intelligent, or well designed
Trump Towers - Audrey Hepburn, classy, understated, simple elegance
Aria - Pamela Anderson, too much of everything, and things are too big!
Venetian - Kate Winslet - lots of appeal, romantic and feminine
Circus Circus - Jenna Jameson - old, smokey and slutty
Mandarin Oriental - Zhangzi Yi from Memoirs of a Geisha, sultry beauty
Bellagio - Elizabeth Taylor - grand and gorgeous in her heydays
Palm Place - Rihanna, young, hip, edgy, and trendy
Paris - Jennifer Aniston, skinny, beautiful but getting older, lacking in variety, and overall just not that impressive.

Last but not the least, my favorite:
Encore - Catherine Zeta Jones, perfection in every way, effortless glamour, attention to details - never a single fly away hair, or a piece of trash anywhere on the property.

Sister hotel to Wynn, and I stayed here before I stayed at Wynn. I really liked it in there. The crowd that stays here are not too rowdy so that was nice. If you enjoy a slightly classier hotel, I would recommend this one.

The sister tower to the Wynn but much nicer. The rooms are amazing. The casino is a lot smaller then the Wynn but the hole feel is better then the Wynn.

My girlfriends and I stayed for 3 nights at the Encore and we so enjoyed our time at this hotel. I travel quite a bit and can be pretty picky when it comes to hotels. I must say Steve Wynn has great taste!!

Check-in: We arrived at around 12noon and it the line was pretty long. However, it moved pretty fast. The part that took so long was the actual "check-in" process.

Rooms:Beautiful! The beds were super comfy. We stayed on the 11th floor and still had a great view of the strip/pool & the mountains! The remote to operate the shades and lighting was so cool! Steve Wynn found small ways to personalize your stay. For example, when you turn the TV on it says "Welcome (your name)." The room key has your name on it which makes you feel at home. As far as the XS club noise, my friends could here it at night. However, I took melatonin and couldn't hear it. Bring your sleep meds and you should be fine.

Restaurants: The only restaurant we had a chance to eat at was the Buffet at the Wynn for dinner. It was amazing! It was truly a top notch buffet. I definitely recommend eating here.

Spa/Fitness Center: The area was gorgeous. However, we didn't have time to enjoy the spa services. We did get to work out on our last morning here. The gym was awesome. All the machines are updated and they have personal TV's which I always love.

The location: It was at the South end of the strip but it was still easy to get to other places on the strip. Everywhere in Las Vegas is spread out so it doesn't matter where you stay a lot of walking will take place.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family & friends. If I return to Las Vegas I know where I will be staying...The Encore!!

Sexy, spacious and luxurious rooms! With top notch service to match. A plethora of eateries and two HOT clubs on the bottom floor of the hotel; what's not to love?

Swanky room, very clean. Each time I've stayed there I've gotten a great view. Amenities are nice here, and clever swivel for the flat screen TV so you can use it pointed towards the living room or watch TV in bed...I like this room better than the Wynn Room, for the design. Pricey though, and limited casual places to pick up a snack (downstairs at the bar/cafe was the only place to get breakfast close, unless I wanted to walk to the Drugstore Cafe on the Wynn property.)

    ***Encore Beach Day Club Review***

I had a horrible experience at the Marquee Day Club with its small pool and their fantastic ability to stuff people in like sardines.

There's nothing better than to come to a spacious pool, good looking people, and best of all: you don't even have to try to look good.
Just grab a drink and relax in the pool, pot belly goes under water folks ;), and waddle in the water to good music.

If you come with a bad ratio of guys and girls (bad, meaning that having men in your group diminish your chances of getting in for free), I would recommend contacting a promoter about your ratio and then come very early, before noon, to avoid the $50-$60 cover charge for men. But generally, girls get in for $30 if you can't get in for the promotion price.

Oh, and if you're worried about fitting your lunch plans prior to pool time, they have a grill there that serves food.

Drinks are fairly expensive, as they regularly are in Las Vegas clubs.

The only thing to complain: I know the pools are heated, but the water is slightly too warm for the amount of people, which makes me think that the water is warm for other reasons :(

But I definitely would do this again on my next trip

Very upscale hotel. The Tower suites are amazing. There is great shopping and good bars. An upscale establishment recommended for mid-30s and up. The XS nightclub is really fun.

Description

Astronomically popular, the Encore has received enough stars and diamonds to light up the entire Las Vegas Strip in accolades. From koi lagoons (mere ponds are not enough) to a 231-carat diamond in the signature Wynn jewelry shop, Encore takes hedonism to the extreme. Party to excess, literally, at XS, where a $10,000 cocktail comes with a white-gold chain necklace. Opened in 2008 as a sister tower to the world-famous Wynn Las Vegas, Encore's guest rooms have features like flat-screen TVs in the bathroom, separate massage rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows.
