One of the DC's best film festivals, dedicated to nature and the environment. A great place to see and showcase world-class leading films in natural history and environmental documentaries. Venues are spread throughout downtown DC and hosted in association with the American University.

Chop't is a great alternative to Quiznos, McDonald's, and some of the other fast food restaurants in the Rosslyn area. You can customize a GIGANTIC salad bowl with all kinds of lettuce, toppings, protein, nuts, veggies, and dressings, and can turn any of that into a wrap as well. There's plenty of seating, but this location is right across from ...Popular withVegetarian

Thanks for making simple sandwiches (Balsamic Chicken & Avocado) that I'm too lazy to make myself, sandwiches that I wouldn't know I didn't make myself, until I took a look inside my checking account.Popular withFoodiesBusinessFamilies

I love this place. The restaurant is beautiful inside especially the bar. The food is perfectly portioned and they have a nice wine list full of known brands and a few eclectic options if you are feeling daring! You wont taste better olive oil in the city!

Probably the best coffee shop in the Dupont circle area. They offer fantastic breakfasts and great coffee. Their menu also include Quiches, Pizzas and sandwiches, but I have yet to try those yet. Don't miss their olive oil cake!! its amazing!!Popular withGreenVegetarian

I went here last week with my cousins and am still daydreaming about it. If we could have, we would have ordered the whole menu, but that may have been a little much. A few of our favorites are the beet salad, the butternut squash appetizer (baked squares, not too dense, almost like dessert), and the eggplant dip appetizer. The ...

The food here was amazing. Things that are a must: spinach chaat, chicken kabob (minced chicken sausage), tandoori salmon, cardamom ice cream, and apple jelabi. The reason I am making this postcard right now is because I've eaten too much and can't sleep. Great ambience and excellent service. Worth the five star restaurant rating that it receives!

This place just opened late 2012 in the Melrose Hotel. It was an extremely good farm to table place, I went to with some friends from out of town. If you're going here, make sure you have some nice clothes on. The prices weren't outrageous and everything tasted great. I had the duck and black eyed peas. Apparently the chicken ...

Excellent Chinese restaurant hidden on the second floor of what looks like an office building. Try to make it on the weekends for authentic and reasonably priced dim sum (best to get here before 11:30AM). It can be crowded and noisy, but that only adds to the charm.Popular withFoodies

Step aside fast food, enter FRESH. Great, tasty take on Greek YEEROH (pick your meat and tzatziki sauce), fresh salads, including a fabulous slaw with a light dressing (instead of mayo) inspired by Asia Minor, and Greek yogurt (frozen or regular) with toppings. You could be walking through Plaka in Athens except the price is in dollars. Kalo orexi! (Bon ...Popular withTrendstersBackpackersFamilies

I cannot pass by this location without ordering a large cup of gelato. It's a good thing I no longer frequent Wisconsin Ave, but when I went to school in the area, this place was deadly. I didn't even have to want gelato, or have the smallest of cravings for something sweet, I was just addicted to this place and ...Popular withFoodiesTrendstersStudents
