Wonderful food and experience. Attentive wait staff. A bit pricey for our modest budget, so we opted for lunch. When we travel we always try to hit a fabulous place and this was exactly that.

This place is over-hyped for cheesecake. Plus you get to visit the desolation of downtown Brooklyn.

Food is average and very overpriced. The entertainment is quite good. Very talented people. If you don't clap for them, you can expect poor service. Worth going to get a shake and experience the ambience. Don't get a full meal, though. Plenty of other superior eating options in NYC!

Pie face does savory pies as well as tiny fruit and sweet pies. The Philly cheesesteak pie is amazing. The milk shakes are good, but the sort that's not thick. Sometimes that's what you want. The atmosphere is a bit loud.

First place I had New York pizza in, and it became the standard to measure all others by. Bought it, folded it in half, and scarfed the sucker down. Absolutely delicious. The first time I went to Johns was the one on Bleecker, before the one on 44th opened. The one in the theater district is prettier, but I like ...

For a good Italian experience in New York, go to Becco. The special is an all you can eat pasta buffet (well, actually, three kinds of pasta's which are served to you by the waiters), including appetizers. It's a little bit noisy in here, but he, have you ever eaten in Italy in silence :-)?

    Stage Deli & Restaurant

0.25 mi from Eugene O'Neill Theatre

New York’s number of classic diners is on the decline, but the more famous like SoHo’s Landmark, Viand Café on the Upper East Side, and Eisenberg’s Sandwich Shop in Chelsea are holding on. So, too, is this East Village dive whose patrons, from hipsters to Wall Street suits to locals, are all here for the food—especially the corned beef hash. ...

Toloache Restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to, hands down. It's also one of the most expensive ones. However its hefy price tag is justified once you've tried anything on the menu. I had the Costilla de Res when I went to Toloache for the first time. It was braised beef short rib covered in carrot-chile ...

I will agree with Forbes Magazine when they say Blue Fin is "the answer to those who lament the lack of good food in Times Square". The restaurant is expansive, the decor is modern and the sushi/ seafood/ raw bar is fresh and full of flavor.

Pigalle's brunch is tasty, although nothing extraordinary. I loved my brioche french toast and the coffee selections were a bit more inventive. I think you probably pay a bit more for atmosphere, which is adorably close to that of a French brasserie, but without any real French people.

    Halal Guys -- 53rd and 6th

0.3 mi from Eugene O'Neill Theatre

The best chicken and rice in town. For $6, you get a massive bowl of chicken/lamb and rice with lettuce and pitas. The red condiments are very spicy (those with sensitive tongues are now forewarned). The line is often long but the affordable price, massive serving, and delicious food makes this food cart completely worth it!
