    Ladurée

    93 reviews

The über famous patisserie is all that. The most traditional location, at Champs Elisees has been recently rebuilt due to a fire and it feels more charming than ever. Expect long lines at the boutique, but it's well worth buying the delicious macarons or other pastry pieces of art. The lines for sitting at the salon de thé are long ...

    Café de Flore

    27 reviews

Cafe IS Paris. It is iconic. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, it is always the right time to go to Flore. Whether that is to stop in for breakfast, a cafe, or an aperitif, it is always a good time to go to Flore.

    Hofbräuhaus

No trip to Munich could be complete without a stop here! The pretzels the beer, the brats, all amazing! Word to the wise, don't sit down at a table with a table cloth on it unless invited. That's for the locals, and is frowned upon. Fortunately there was a group that thought us charming (ok probably more hilarious) that we ...

    Les Deux Magots

    30 reviews

It was important for me to go to the places where authors and artists spent time thinking, talking. I thought that perhaps I would get inspired, and I did, only because I thought of them and the things I remember them having said. Here, Sartre and de Beauvoir conversed, and even Camus and Hemingway spent some time. I liked sipping ...

    Giolitti - Centro Storico

Some of the best gelato I've ever had, and the line of locals busting out the door shows me I might not be the only one. Highly recommended-- great, natural flavor (you can't go wrong with any!). It's a classic place, beloved by tourists and Italians alike. Plus, the men serving you gelato'll make you want to come back twice.

    Chocolatería San Gines

    34 reviews

Chocolatería de San Ginés is, without a doubt, the capital's most traditional chocolatería. Situated in the centre, on Pasadizo de San Gínes, 5, it has been serving the most famous chocolate con churros in Madrid since the end of the 19th century. Just down the road in Calle Postigo de San Martín, 7, lies another time-honoured café Chocolatería Valor, which ...

    L'As Du Fallafel

    34 reviews

Be prepared to share a table, because this place is always packed. Service is very efficient, though, and you can't go wrong with the falafel sandwich. The roasted eggplant adds another layer of flavor, and everything was very fresh. My only gripe was the meager beer selection, especially considering that more interesting beer choices are popping up all over Paris. ...

    Cerveceria Catalana

    36 reviews

    Berthillon

This review is only for the ice cream: It is the best damn ice cream I've ever had (I got pistachio flavor). Creamy, flavorful, succulent. Fantastic texture and taste. There are a few Berthillons that sell ice cream around this area. They're all the same, but one of them sells it for .30 less because they use a cheaper cone. ...

    Monmouth Coffee Company

Good coffee near Borough Market. Can be lines on weekends, but worth the wait. It's a chain so you'll see others in London, but I think this is one of the original ones.

    Wagamama (Streatham St)

This London chain does Asian food. It's not bad, it's not expensive, but overall, it's not worth a special trip. There are too many great restaurants in London to bother with spending pounds sterling and time here.

really good food, cool restaurant/bar/club. A friend of a friend was one of the owners, so it was easy to get a place, but i think usually you need to call up and make a reservation if you want to be at the restaurant.

    Oxo Tower Restaurant

    29 reviews

We came here for the view and enjoyed looking at St. Paul’s and other buildings all lit up at night. The food we had was fairly good for the most part, but definitely not in the same league as the top London restaurants. However, we found the attitude a bit much. The wine list was quite pricey so we selected ...
