To me, Eventi will always be the hotel where I once saw Kiefer Sutherland, just casually chatting on the phone. This hotel sees a lot of famous faces—and for good reason. Its sophisticated décor, spacious rooms and luxurious beds are hard to resist. The rooms are incredibly luxe, with Frette Italian bedding, leather pillows and even cushion-lined walls. The marble bathroom is huge, with a spa-worthy tub/shower and a separate toilet room. Wifi is free, and if you sign up for a (free) Klimpton Rewards membership, you get a $15 credit to raid the minibar! Not too shabby.
The entire hotel evokes an understated elegance and down-to-earth ambiance. It's refreshing to escape the hustle and bustle of the Macys/Herald Square area at this hotel. Even when you enter the lobby from the street, the marbled reception area, with its leather loveseats and cushy couches, is instantly calming.Recommended for:

When I first booked my room at the Eventi, I was excited that I would be staying in a newer property in Midtown. However, despite my travels, I was not prepared for the level of stylish, refined luxury. Every detail from the light up hotel room number signs to the Indiana Jones-invoking sliding bathroom door displayed an attention to detail not seen too often in hospitality. Additionally, the convenience to Midtown attractions like Madison Square Garden were second to none. I also appreciated the adjacent FoodParc concept for a couple meals during my stay. If I had to define what an urban 21st century luxury hotel should be, it would be the Eventi.Recommended for:
