    Viajante -- CLOSED

0.25 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    8 reviews

Ok, it' expensive, I won't lie. But this is probably the most talked, and raved about restaurant in London. In East London, off the beaten track. Original, portuguese haute.

    Vijante

0.08 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    1 review

The chef is Portuguese and the name means voyager in Portuguese but the menu defies classification. Extremely innovative and surprising, delightful mouthfuls make up the tasting menu. A meal is a voyage of taste. Located in Town Hall Hotel near Bethnal Green, the restaurant is a bit out of the usual visitors centres but well worth the effort to get ...

    Star of Bethnal Green

0.21 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    1 review

Not every homosexual in East London wants to rave it up in a wig while dancing to Madonna, and the Star of Bethnal Green is the preferred destination for East London gays who are inclined to alternative music. Fancy rocking out in the presence of other gays who prefer Blur to Britney? You may just find your new spiritual home ...

    Pizza East

0.89 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    18 reviews

I went to Pizza East as part of a birthday dinner a few weeks back, and while it's a super neat space with a really cool atmosphere, for the most part I found it to be overhyped and underwhelming. It's not that anything was particularly bad about my experience, but nothing blew me away, and certainly nothing demanded the large ...

    Brick Lane Beigel Bake

0.64 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    11 reviews

Beigel Bake has some of the cheapest "beigels" in London, though it says nothing about their taste. The beigels come right out of the oven, always hot, fluffy and delightful. Get a salted beef beigel with mustard!

    St John Bread & Wine

0.89 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    9 reviews

Original menu without being pretentious. Fabulous foie gras toast for starters followed by melt in your mouth black angus on watercress. Lovely table wine followed by brown bread ice cream. Friendly atmosphere and they have no problem with how long you stay (we sat there all night!). Loved it. Major win for me.

0.86 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat

Was great the first time, but the last couple of times, the food quality has dropped off. Disappointing. The deli upstairs is good.

    Poppies Fish & Chips

0.86 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    6 reviews

I went to Poppies on accident on the way to Nintendisco in Shoreditch. At first I felt a little hesitant seeing as how there was a lot of foot traffic around it and I doubted very seriously we'd get a place to sit inside. We didn't end up getting a place, but the food was really well worth it. I ...

    Bistrotheque

0.49 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat

This is the bestest place to come for brunch in East London on a Sunday. There's a pianist playing pop tunes, great eggs benedict and belinis, and a really beautiful, hip crowd.

    ALBION

0.84 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    4 reviews

While I have yet to explore Albion to its fullest extent (thus this 4 star rating) what I have seen impresses me fully. Stocking a great and delicious looking hand made breads and a fantastic collection of traditional British biscuits (of which I tried an amazing CD sized jammy dodger). I'm looking forward to sampling more treats and exploring this ...

If you are after a spicy meal in east london you found your place. One of the curry house in Brick Lane area. Try mangolasse with your food, believe me you need it to wash down all that spice.

    London Fields Brewery

0.8 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    4 reviews

This is one of my fail-safe place to go in London. All through summer 2012 the brewery held massive parties in its adjoining venue, The Brewhouse - there was bands, DJs, BBQ, loads of beer, and Pimms for the ladies - literally a piss up in a brewery. The Tap Bar opened in time for winter, in the same space ...

    Clove Club

0.94 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat

The latest venture by London chef collective, the young Turks. Set up in the recently revamped shoreditch town hall and serving up a five course set menu of seasonal modern British food, it is not one to miss. There is also a separate bar menu of small plates will be available in the 40-seat bar, for those who just want ...

    La Catrina Mexican Burritos

0.89 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    3 reviews

I'm pretty sure this was a smaller sized burrito, but it was fully packed! Though the picture here does not do much justice, the pork burrito was full of rice, beans, tomatoes, and more to fully stuff you! Think twice before going to Chipotle!

    Hawksmoor Spitalfields

0.89 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat
    3 reviews

Hawksmoor Spitalfields (and probably the other locations as well) is the best steak house in London. All cuts of steak are incredibly succulent and flavorful - my favorite being the fillet. Loved the environment - dim lighting, brick walls, cool East London feel, but with a refined and upmarket feel. Waitstaff was wonderful - from the bartender to the server ...

    Nude Espresso

As a love if tea Teasmith was a fantastic end to the Walk.Eat.Talk.Eat tour I took. The girls working knew just about anything a person could want to know about the tea they were serving and truly appeared to love their role. I can't wait to return here for another visit, as I think it will become a regular stop ...

    Dishoom Shoreditch

0.84 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat

I absolutely love Dishoom in Shoreditch - possibly a tiny bit more than it's sister in Covent Garden. Head here for delicious indian food in a nice atmosphere at reasonable prices. Also amazing for breakfast! (No, really, if you haven't tried Indian breakfast, you should)

    Kahaila

0.65 mi from Fabulous Central London 3-bed, 2-bath flat

Kahaila is a very beautiful, light-filled café on Brick Lane - actually, you quite forget you're on Brick Lane inside because it's relatively calm and quiet. Really good sandwiches and coffee, and free WiFi, so the mood inside is half-social and half-working creatives. Somewhat unusually, the café is actually part of a Christian organisation, but it doesn't advertise this anywhere ...
