This was my 2nd time in NY and first time staying in a hotel. I don't know if hotel rooms are usually so cramped in NY?? It was a tiny room.. but if you're visiting, you're not gonna spend much time in the room anyway.
It's in a good location, close to Times Square, subway, Duane Reade pharmacy for last minute errands.
The guy at the front desk was super nice! I think his name was Daniel. He took the time to give us recommendations of places to visit and made himself available if we had any questions. He checked in our luggage because our plane landed wayyyy way early before check in time, and he told us we could go grab some complimentary breakfast before heading back out to explore.
Speaking of breakfast.. I think that was probably the best part... it's not super delicious tasting, but hey it's complimentary and there were so many items! Variety of bagels, breads, pastries, muffins. There's a bagel slicer and a toaster. Different kinds of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that you can microwave yourself. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit cups, fruit juices, milk, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, cereal boxes, oatmeal and a waffle maker! Butter, cream cheese, jams, peanut butter, pancake syrup... I felt like I was in a college dorm cafeteria again O_O
Here's my one little complaint though.. I don't like to get room service if I'm only staying a couple of nights... We did not have a Do Not Disturb card, so on our way out, I told a lady at the front desk that we didn't need any room service and that we didn't have a Do Not Disturb card to put on the door. She wrote a note and said it would be taken care of. When we got back, room service had gone into our room -__- They did leave the DND card on the door though haha
Overall it's definitely not a 4 star hotel... but I rate it a 4 because I was pleased with the experience. it was a good stay, clean and very convenient.
