The Fairmont Miramar has a little something for everyone! If you're young and fun the Bungalow is one of the hottest venue's on the Westside for sure; open spaces, great music vibe, outdoor bar, just fun, ping pong, pool, beautiful people; get there early because the lines can be long. However, If you want a quieter night, are more sophisticated, are interested in a nine piece jazz band and a torch singer, TUESDAY nights are the night you might want to get out to the Bungalow. On other nights one can sit in the lobby bar of the Fairmont Miramar Hotel, eat at FIG and/or have a drink by the fire pits and falls on the patio. It's a nice vibe and quieter options than the Bungalow.

"The Bungalow is more than a room; it’s a state of mind. Conjured from the rich imagination of Brent Bolthouse, The Bungalow radiates the relaxed charm of another era. Located on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica, the low-key lounge boasts stunning ocean views and is the perfect spot to watch the sun drip into the sea.

The Bungalow is a breezy Baja-style 1947 cottage surrounded by lushly landscaped grounds and gardens. There are five distinct spaces to mingle within this inviting respite from hectic city life etc. "- all explained on their official website.

Love this beach bungalow turned lounge at the Fairmont! Great people watching and celeb sightings. Amazing signature cocktails.

The Fairmont Santa Monica is well known for offering oceanfront luxury to its human guests, but it’s the P.A.W. (Pets Always Welcome) program that will please even the most discerning of your furry family members. If Princess would like some pampering, sign her up for a blueberry facial or a manicure. Later, she can snack on complimentary treats in a special bowl, and then take a nice nap on a plush doggy bed. Did you forget one of her favorite chew toys at home? (Silly human!) Fairmont customers are given a 10 percent discount at Healthy Spot of Santa Monica.

The hotel is lovely and the spa is fabulous! However, Bungalow is completely overrated. The space is really nice and the line to get in would make you think its worth the wait. WRONG. The drinks are expensive and not all that original. Plus there isn't much space to sit or even stand around for such a large venue. I got knocked over 3 or 4 times by servers and patrons. Not really my idea of fun. I think I'd enjoy this place more for a sunset drink when it's not so crowded (if that ever happens). Give it 2 years for the place to calm down a bit and it'll probably be more fun to hang out at. Sadly it's the only game in town for single douche bags to pick up women. Raise your hand if you're married and over that scene. ;)

We sat at the bar and enjoyed the drinks but the service was very poor fairly poor and the bartender forgot we ordered food. Cocktails are $16 and are interesting and well mixed cocktails, but with the poor attention given to us it's unlikely I'll be back.

I stayed here with my parents and sister in one of the bungalows. The rooms were classy and comfortable, and I was sure glad my parents were footing the bill. The pool was about fifteen feet from our door and I took full advantage. The poolside bar was seriously tempting, especially because it was staffed by beautiful women at all hours. My mom got some sort of spa treatment that she raved about, but I didn’t join so I can’t really comment. I hope to afford this hotel someday.

The Fairmont Miramar…wow. Everything about the hotel is high-class luxury, from the deep couches in the lobby to the poolside martini bar to free fiber optic Internet (the only hotel I’ve ever been to with that feature). My room was ok, nothing special but comfortable enough. It was, however, in Ocean Tower, so I had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. Ah I can see it now…The hotel’s location is great as well, just a few blocks from downtown Santa Monica and all the restaurants and shopping a person could possibly need. The staff was young, energetic and professional, which I very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who can afford it, as it really is one of the best in the area.

The location of this hotel is great - right off the 3rd Street Promenade, and you are greeted at the entrance by an amazing, huge banyon tree. You feel like you are in for something special. Sadly, the Fairmont Miramar is badly in need of a renovation. Rooms are run down and downright shabby. Not worth the price.
