This hotel is located at the heart of Kings Cross and is close to the station and restaurants. This hotel has a warm feeling, I guess it comes from the fact that this is a family hotel. The rooms are quite small but it is a very popular hotel and you need to book in advance. The price includes free Wi-Fi access, breakfast and the hotel is clean. I would say it is ideal for budget conscious families.Recommended for:

Right by King's Cross and St. Pancras stations, the hotel is very well located if you are coming into the city by Eurostar. King's Cross St. Pancras underground station is also one of the most connected in the city and and excellent place to start.
Breakfast is included in the price of the stay and the breakfast room is perfectly reasonable. There are many different types of room available so it's definitely worth having a look round first to help you decide which you'd like - if you are booking on the day that is.
Staff are friendly and will cater to your needs as best they can. There are many bars and restaurants nearby worth a look - as well as King's Place just a few minutes walk for views of the river as you drink tea.

The Fairway is a budget hotel conveniently tucked off Euston Road at King's Cross. Within a convenient 5 minute walk of King's Cross and St. Pancras stations. Making it incredibly easy to assess all forms of public transportation (one of the many highlights and perks of visiting London).
This hotel hosts a numerous rooms over 5 floors and includes breakfast with booking. The Fairway offers rooms that are both private and more hostel like in style for budget travelers as they have some accommodation that does not feature en-suite toilets and showers. I found this hotel to be cozy, and basic it providing just what one needs during a quick stop over-night in London.
As this location is over multiple levels and has no elevator (lift) the staff were helpful and accommodating suggesting that future guests with limited mobility request their ground floor rooms. Be sure to mention these needs upon booking.
Over all considering the Fairway Hotel's convenience and budget aspect, it makes this a great choice for brief stays, or busy weeks in London where all you’re looking for is a place to rest your head.
