FAO Schwarz

I think every part of the store is amazing. I love the collection of every stuffed animal known to man and the giant keyboard. We actually had to return a toy that didn't work, and even though it had been a year since we got it as a gift, they exchanged it for us without hassle!

The atmosphere is the real draw here, though for a trendy restaurant, the food is very good.

Rouge Tomate is my first Michelin Star rated restaurant. The expectations were high from my side prior to our visit. I must say, I wasn’t disappointed. The interior is modern and nice looking. We were seated at a booth (there were 5 of us), with plenty of room on a table and to seat. The service was very nice – ...

Get a trio of aquavit tastings and the smorgasboard. Pure heaven and even the desserts are great even though they sound weird.

This is one of my favorite places in the city to eat. Don't miss their corn bread. Their new sister restaurant, Quality Italian, is similar but nothing can beat the pure goodness of the steak at Quality Meats.

So as probably many of the yelpers have said, they are known for their mille crepe cakes. Oh boyyyyyyyy, I found love at first bite! We got the original mille crepe, and the green tea mille crepe. So with both slices, it came out to a total of 15.50, which I think isn't that bad considering how good it is. ...

Adour is a great place to go for a special occasion dinner and the food is truly sensational. The atmosphere is also lovely and serene and this is definitely a place where you won't have trouble hearing the other people at your table. One caveat: I had one experience at Adour when we had a fantastic, very professional server, but ...

This place is pretty busy during lunch time. I would recommend to order to-go as the people rushing in and out of the cafe create a lot of noise. All of their sandwiches looked delicious and I wish I had more chances to eat here. I also wish LA had more places like this! I felt a little rushed because ...

Cute, quaint coffee shop and breakfast place. This coffee shop is located a good part of town. I went at 8 AM after a flight, so there was no one there. It was 32 degrees F (0 C) out, and I wanted to be anywhere indoors. The food is good, and the hot chocolate is to die for. Great place ...

BG is just the prettiest, glossiest side of Kelly Wearstler and this perfectly designed restaurant, right at the top of Bergdorf Goodman, has an amazing view overlooking the park, making it totally perfect for lunch dates with friends. The Hollywood Regency meets art deco decor is feminine and fun and if you are in the mood for a treat, ask ...

From the owners of Sant Ambroeus (on the Upper East Side, West Village and Southampton) comes this spectacular spaceship-shaped new restaurant worthy of Park Avenue financiers and movie stars alike. The pop art on the walls is unbelievable, as it its ground-breaking decor. The cuisine is nothing less than Italian classics at its very best. The branzino is my favorite! ...

Excellent food, and the decor is really interesting. Not a great place to go if you want to have a discussion - it's a little on the noisy side. And when it gets a little crowded, service can slow down. But if you're looking for good Thai food (and different and tasty, though not cheap, cocktails) Qi is a good ...

Robert, named for legendary party-planner Robert Isabell, offers breathtaking views of Columbus Circle. The food is contemporary American fare with a Mediterranean influence prepared by Union Prime alum Brady Duhane. A jazz band plays nightly, but the restaurant is open for brunch/lunch, tea, dinner and late-night cocktails. When you make a reservation, request for a table by the window.

If you have tickets to the opera or the ballet, eat dinner at Lincoln first. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Lincoln Center and the open kitchen. The chef used to run the kitchen at Per Se. The Italian menu changes its focused region every few months (it's currently Emilia-Romagna). The service is refined yet approachable. And the pasta dishes are decadent. I ...

Great little coffee shop attached to The Andaz and across from the NY Public Library. Top notch coffee that makes it worth a short walk to avoid the bad delis and mega chains that dominate 42nd street.

Shake Shack is an institution in NYC and this location in the Theater District is constantly packed but you won't have to wait long. These sandwiches are when you see the price tag per sandwich and freak of these has enough meat for 3 or sandwiches. Go crazy and get the Woody Allen which is a combo of Corned Beef and Pastrami. The Jewish deli meats here are great...the waiters surly and don't forget those great pickles

**BEST PRIX FIXE IN TOWN** We celebrated our anniversary with a memorable meal at JG. Yes, Denzel Washington enhanced the experience (he sat nearby), but it was all about the food here!
