Farina boasts one of the few rooftop terraces in SF! Just opened in June, the terrace offers an awesome setting in the Mission with delicious Italian fare to boot. Enjoy your meal in their contemporary Euro dining room downstairs or chill out on the terrace that's open for dinner every night and brunch on Sundays.

Classy decor and vibrant space with a partially open kitchen. The food here was spectacular. The octopus was the so tender, it almost melted in your mouth. The walnut pesto was pure heaven. My only complaint was that the prices were a tad high.

Yes, the food is good. But there are better Italian restaurants that are also a better value. For example: Delfina & Poesia, both in the immediate area. Some of their interpretations are also a little strange. But the food is as, mentioned, very good.

Loved the cuisine & even dessert here. The service was excellent & well-informed. Farina of course makes its own pastas and so far has been unrivaled for me in SF. A few years ago, a SF-based magazine published the secret panic stories of cooks in the kitchens of famous SF restaurants, and one page included the story of its pasta line cook. Definitely heat in the kitchen. I had a very memorable evening here :)
