    Eiffel Tower

0.44 mi from Fat Tire Bike Tours - Paris

Does one really review the Eiffel Tower?? All I can say is that my first look at the Tower was when it was shimmering at night (every hour or so), and it was breathtaking. So much more powerful at night.

    Chez L'Ami Jean

0.74 mi from Fat Tire Bike Tours - Paris
    7 reviews

The chef is from the Basque region of Spain and the menu reflects his origins. The place is casual and lively and the food rustic and tasty. When we went, we felt the servers were rushing us, which was very unParisian, otherwise, the meal was excellent. For dessert, you get the rice pudding whether you ordered it or not.

Ate dinner here our first night in Paris, was not disappointed. We walked right in and sat upstairs, no reservation. All the food items were good, especially the Causollet and Sole with truffle sauce.

    Carette

0.87 mi from Fat Tire Bike Tours - Paris

Probably the best meal we had in Paris. The crowd was snooty, as was the service, the prices were a bit too much, but the food (a chicken salad platter) was good.

    Cafe Constant (Le)

0.5 mi from Fat Tire Bike Tours - Paris
    3 reviews

Try Cafe Constant, in the 7th, on Rue St. Dominique. Chef Christian Constant is well-known. Look for the pumpkin soup on the menu. He shared his recipe with us. Casual cafe atmosphere, moderately priced. They don't take reservations, so you may have to wait.

    LES COCOTTES

This is one of a few restaurants by Christophe constant (some on the same street). They present some fusion platters and also very modern renditions on typical food or platters like risotto, grits, fish. Cool interior with some high tables. Cold/room temp food is served on slate plates and warm food is served in the mini staub pots that they ...

Great food, even greater view. We had the Trocadéro view, which offers a view of Champs de Mars & the River Siene. The decor & ambience was fantastique & our server, Florence, provided excellent service. The experience is pricey but definitely worth every Euro we spent.

    Jeff de Bruges

0.59 mi from Fat Tire Bike Tours - Paris

Jeff de Bruges is my favorite "mainstream" gourmet chocolate. With a few stores in Paris - and one just recently opened at the Champs Elisees - they make delicious chocolate in every flavor, to eat right there, to gift someone back at home or to have amazing belgian chocolate machine ice cream.

Pretty solid restaurant that got bonus points for being very cute. It was also somewhat near the Eiffel Tower, so after an exhausting day walking around, this was a welcome place to eat. Great ambiance and service, recommend if it's late and you're looking for a bite to eat without a reservation.

Order the Duck Confit (10 Euro), Grilled Lamb (10 Euro), and Pear Dessert! The duck confit falls off the bone and is wonderfully done. This is the one dish that I tried the most in Paris, and it is cooked extremely well here. It comes with the typical side of fried potatoes and I loved the French tradition of using ...

A brilliant and very French restaurant in the Commerce area of Paris. It's a lovely building with a high glass ceiling, the menu and the staff are very French but don't let that put you off :) The steak was fabulous and the desserts were to die for. Seriously good authentic Chinese food is served by knowledgeable waiters in a quiet and plush environment, at this excellent restaurant in a random part of town, where the prices are astronomically high and the food is unbelievably good.
