Amazingly good cacio e pepe in a quaint residential neighborhood. Reservations are an absolute must. This place is an institution in Rome and considered by many to be the best cacio e pepe in town.

Felice a Testaccio is known for its cacio e pepe and other traditional Roman dishes. The menu changes daily, so check for favorites like coda alla vaccinara (oxtail) and saltimbocca alla romana (veal with prosciutto and sage).

Great food, located in the Trastevere neighborhood, they change their menu everyday so you can check online what you like the best (www.feliceatestaccio.it), try the traditional Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe and their Filetto di Manzo Danese.

Stopped off for lunch, had a delicious paccheri alla norma, though the tonnarelli cacio e pepe is supposed to be amazing!

OverviewEdit

Description

This restaurant is typical of an early 19 century inn with its thick glass windows, exposed brick walls and wooden tables. The cuisine follows the same pattern, serving generous portions of traditional dishes from Rome and the Lazio region.
