A must see tourist attraction in Hong Kong by the harbor. Copying Hollywood in LA"s Hollywood blvd, Hong Kong movie stars have their hands and stars imprinted in the cement. There is also the famous Bruce lee statue which is a huge hit amongst tourists!

One of the main streets on the Kowloon side in HK. Lots of hotels, shop and restaurants. Just be careful of the crowds moving up and down the street.

Very cool and much needed testament to the Chinese space program. Great for kids, especially teens. Smaller ones would have fun there too and there is a lot to do nearby.

Basically a transport link for the ferries, but lots of little shops. When I was there, the main attraction was a massive anti Falun Gong campaign. Hadn't realised these guys (which I always took to be a kind of silly new age cult) were causing problems here. Mostly in Cambridge they just collect drop-outs and the odd autistic kid who ...

There are actually quite a bit of culture in TST E with its Arts and Exhibition Halls, Concert Halls, Space Museum, HKG Museum, and converted ex-colonial barracks and architecture....if one could survive the stampede of visitors, freedom walkers, and cart totting shoppers.

Chungking Mansion is a babel tower for broke travellers. Wong Kar Wai's movie "Chungking Express" got its name from this place. It has a reputation of being kind of safe but not really. I never dared to book a room there, but if you are (very) adventurous or desperately broke, it's gotto be an unforgettable experience.

Impressive art museum which has recently relocated to the bit of Kowloon adjacent to the Star Ferry terminal and clock tower. Excellent collection of Chinese art with a nice exhibit on Andy Warhol in spring 2013.

Chungking Mansion has to be the most random and eclectic building in all of Hong Kong. The mansion is essentially a building and contains a hustling flea market, hostels, and apartments. South Asians, Asians, and Africans congregate to sell all tons of knick knacks. While it's not touristy in a packaged and refined way, it definitely is a unique part ...

1881 Heritage is one of the best mixed used developments in Hong Kong. While the site now houses a boutique hotel, several wonderful restaurants and numerous luxury brands, it is also a museum. The former marine police headquarters now have spaces dedicated to display historic pre war (world 2) structures. We love the colonial architecture with modern renovations at this ...

I don't recommend this place place. I came here to check it out because I heard how bad it was. This place is apparently a refuge for criminals and there is lots of history here so I was curious.
