Whether it's the 1st or 100th game you've been to, The excitement of being at Fenway is timeless. Whether it's date night, a family outing, or friends getting together to watch the sox and drink a few beers, Fenway has it all.

One of the most historic ballparks still around! Red Sox games are always fun, and there are a ton a sports bars right near the park if you can't get a ticket to the game.

For anyone with even a passing interest in baseball (or the Americana that the sport neatly encapsulates), a visit to the old Fenway Park is like a visit to one of Europe's great churches. Richer in history and tradition than virtually any other ballpark in the USA, it's the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon or evening, drinking beer and eating hotdogs and soaking in the atmosphere of this quintessentially 'Boston' place.

They offer tours daily at this classic ballpark. Lots of history and behind-the-scenes sights. This shot is from the top of the famous "Green Monster"

    Go the Distance.......

And to quote Moonlight Graham - "You know we just don't recognize the most significant moments of our lives while they're happening. Back then I thought, well, there'll be other days. I didn't realize that that was the only day"

So don't pass up Fenway Park. It's where one of my baseball dreams came true. But Wrigley will get you to heaven faster!

Home of the Red Sox!! Almost enough said. Truly, it's expensive, but then so are they all and it is a great day out of if you have any enthusiasm at all for baseball.

Experience the inevitable heartbreak of being a Boston sports fan. Try to avoid the wooden seats in the grandstands, though - that gets brutal after about the fourth inning.

Description

The Curse of the Bambino weighed heavily on the hearts of Bostonians for 86 years, brought upon the Red Sox when Babe Ruth, otherwise known as the Bambino, was sold to the New York Yankees in 1918. Boston’s beloved baseball team wouldn’t win another World Series until 2004, when the city erupted with a celebratory spirit pent up for oh-so-many decades. Fenway Park may very well be the heart of Boston, exhibiting the patriotic city’s determination and struggle. Located in the beautiful Back Bay Fens area, it’s also a nice place to catch a game, Fenway Frank in hand.
