Fergburger is a must in Queenstown. With burgers large enough to rival super-sized American cuisine, and a line that files out the door all day every day, "The Ferg" is beloved by locals and tourists alike. Slap down the $11-18 (depending on your choice of meat) and bite into a burger monster. Then dare your friends and comrades to see who can finish theirs first.

Fergburger is one of those essential experiences when you visit Queenstown. Amazing (and huge) burgers of every variety are all you'll find on the menu - no matter that's all you're looking for here. Open until 5am and a must-visit for all Queenstown visitors - there isn't any excuse.

Everyone loves Fergburger. You probably will too! If I hadn't tried Velvet Burger (which is in Dunedin and now Auckland) I would have really loved it. The burgers are excellent. The fries and aioli, pretty good.

Fergburger. Wont' be forgetting that name anytime soon. I have to admit, I actually liked a burger in New Zealand. Now granted, it wasn't 100% beef. It had some filler like bread crumbs or something. But it was tasty. The selections were great. They also had a line at the time, so it's a popular place. A little pricier then I expected for the size of the burger, but you can go big if you want there. :-)

Ferrburger is hands down one of the best burgers you will ever have. They are made with top quality NZ beef and while they offer their take on a traditional burger, they also have some interesting combinations that might peak your interest. My favorite burger was the Bombay chicken burger. The staff is really young and friendly and they are very empathetic to the fact that you might have to wait 30 minutes to order your food. This place is popular with all types of travelers from budget backpackers to hotel guests of the Sofitel. They even offer some vegetarian options that are quite tasty as well.Recommended for:Vegetarian

I can't believe I don't have a photo of my Fergberger. I've eaten there at least twice. I guess I've been too busy chowing down to bother with a photo. You will want to get some exercise before or after because it is a big burger, very filling, but oh, so good.
