This should be on everyone's list of things to do in Chicago, and make sure you plan enough time to do it. You can easily be here all day and still not see everything. Parking could be a bit tricky, though, especially if there is a game going on at Soldier's Field next door.

Tapas here have a more modern presentation, but the flavors evoke memories of dining in Spain more than any other tapas restaurant in Chicago. Hence, it is my family's go-to for Spanish food. When I am not dining here on the parents' dime, it's mostly to take advantage of their awesome brunch. It is a feast! The only setback is ...Popular withFoodiesVegetarianLuxury

I was excited to visit this legendary blues club, but disappointed by the band I saw. I would return, but only after checking the calendar first. Buy tickets in advance for the nights Buddy Guy is there.Popular withLocalStudentsNightlife

Definitely the place to go for authentic Chicago style deep dish pizza! It takes a while for the deep dish to cook closer to an hour but once you get it, it's so good and well worth the wait and price. They have pasta dishes which are really good as well! A lot of people will tell you to go ...Popular withFoodiesLocal

I had the Cannoli Hotcakes and they were delicious, as was the side of potatoes! I was less impressed by my girlfriend's sandwich though, so I think this is more of a breakfast place. There are typically long lines on the weekends, but if you go during the week, there's no wait!

I really wanted to like it because it's at the bottom of the hostel next door. I ordered a salad that said it came on mix greens but it was iceberg. I'm guessing people come here more for the Cuban sandwiches in the salad. The service was very friendly.

The waffles benedict was fantastic. The flavors (poached eggs over pork sitting on a waffle, all covered in hollandaise sauce) really worked well together and made for one wonderful brunch. My wife had the waffle flight, a sampling of four different waffle types. They all were pretty tasty, but the Mexican chocolate was an amazing fusion of flavors. They also ...Popular withFoodies

Amazing food with even better service. The guys at the bar are great too. It's the perfect place to chill and have a cocktail.

I had the lucky opportunity of actually being off on a weekday and being able to head downtown to meet up with the boyfriend for lunch. He raves about Fontano's, and I've always wanted to try it. We shared the Blockbuster and the Italian Beef (extra dipped of course, with cheese and hot peppers!). Both were yummy! And more than ...
