Wonderful place to stay, and a delicious place to eat. If you call ahead you can ask if you can come have a meal even if you are not staying there. It received my highest vote for a place to stay in Suva, and definitely a place to eat.

Of the nice resorts in denarau this one has the best restaurant, so go here to dine yourself. The rooms are all very nice too, and this is probably the best place to do a business event as wellPopular with

Of all the expensive resorts on the beach, this one has the coolest beach bar, so go here for drinks and lounge.Popular with

This is a quite nice hotel on Denarau... it's contained within the larger property of the Sheraton Fiji, and if you stay at the villas you use the lobby, restaurants, pool, and beach at the larger Sheraton, just steps away. The Villas are higher-end rooms and have an additional pool (pictured here) that is only for the people who stay ...Popular with

The Beqa Lagoon Resort is a moderate hotel and excellent for divers! If you don't have a huge budget but still want to experience Fiji then this is the place for you,. There are 2 bedroom units that work great for families but if romance is the reason you are going I would highly suggest the Ocean Front Bure.Popular with

The favorite watering hole for locals. It is the town hall and favorite bar all in one.

The almost-too accessible reef on the lagoon side of the island is sadly in pretty bad condition, but the island itself is perfect, picturesque and sustainably managed. This is a great and popular place to come for wind sports (e.g. kiteboarding) and there is good diving when you go out by boat. While staying at these types of lodges, I ...Popular with

Nice simple burres or dorms, the food here has always been better than Caqalai, and I think the snorkling is better but there is debate on that.Popular with

Navutu Starts Resort was the perfect way to start our honeymoon. The burres were private and spread out, the resort only accommodates a few couples so there was definitely a sense of privacy and seclusion in addition to the advantages of a full service resort. We spent our days snorkeling at nearby reefs, reading in our hammock and enjoying the ...Popular with

Awesome little house on the cliff's edge with a great view of moon reef. The snorkeling is great here, there is a small waterfall to hike to, and food is wonderful, and best of all, you can take the boat out with a guide, and go see the pod of dolphins that likes in the bay. The only problem is ...

This is not actually in Sigatoka, it is on Yanuca island which is right off Beqa. It is the spot to stay if you want to surf frigates.

Quiet relaxing refuge on Vitu Levu between Lautoka and Nadi. A great place to start your Fiji holiday before heading to the Mamanucas or Yasawas. Read my story on The Fiji Orchid - http://www.examiner.com/international-travel-in-denver/an-orchid-the-fijian-bouquet

These guys are the ones to take you out to Astrolabe reef. They have strong guides who live and work right on the reef, so they are most knowledgeable about it. The accommodations here though are pretty rudimentary though, so you can stay at a nearby resort that will provide you with transport to Mai Dive every morning and you ...

The price was awesome! We just used the hotel as somewhere to sleep while we explored Fiji. The travel desk at the hotel was very handy and the service was great! Getting a taxi was easy. The restaurant was ok and the pool was refreshing to lie around drinking cocktails and swimming to cool off. Rooms are dated but clean ...

A bit of a trek to get out here, but once you do, there is often nobody but you. Dere Bay is part of a development, selling plots of land to those who want to build houses out of Koro, but to date, the area is still mostly vacant. Meals are super tasty, there is a kayak, paddle board and ...

While we stayed at the Outrigger on the Lagoon we ate dinner at the Bedarra on 2 nights. The curry was fantastic and provided with all the trimmings. The pizzas were also excellent and the drinks were very affordable.
