The Financial District is a must see speacilly because of the Transamerica Pyramid, a world know building. The financial center of San Francisco is not all about business. In the area around you'll find places like the Embarcadero Center, Jackson Square Hitorical Distric and the Ferry Building.

The Financial District may be the only area of San Francisco that’s flooded with people in one moment and serene in the next. During business hours, this business hub blows up with the energy of power walking employees rushing between lunch, coffee and the office. When business hours end, and the sun starts to set in that beautiful San Francisco fashion, the streets empty and you’re left with a tranquil stroll between the once intimidating buildings.
The FiDi (as some call it) houses also many great food and drink locales. Take-out places are most prominent, and a quick search on Gogobot will surely unveil some hot bites for you. My quick recommendations are Oasis Grill (Mediterranean), Mixt Greens (organic salads) and Specialty’s Cafe & Bakery (cookies). The top bars in the FiDi are Rickhouse and 83 Proof. Go to these when they’re not crowded and you’ll find great drinks in a comfortable environment.
