This is more than a great meal, it's also a very fun experience. The quality and selection is great, and the drink list is wonderful.

Fire & Ice is a Mongolian BBQ-style restaurant where you throw all of your veggies, meat, seafood and/or sauce in a bowl and watch the chefs prepare it on a massive grill in front of you. You pay a set price and can go up to the food bar as many times as you like...though usually two is enough.
The food is decent, but nothing overly special - you're paying more for the buffet environment than anything else. One reason I went so much was because Monday nights are College Night, where anyone with a student ID pays $10 for an unlimited dinner. They also serve brunch where you can get ENORMOUS pancakes prepared on the grill.Recommended for:Budget Travelers

Came here back in 2005 with a group from Bentley College's Wall Street 101 group. This was bonding time.
Essentially, this is your Asian fusion food place. Pile on the goodies, and then bring it to the cooks, who then cook it for you, and then place it on a plate. Come back for more later, eat as much as you want, leave when you like. Honestly very, very satisfying.

If you've never been to Mongolian BBQ, you should at least try it. (A quick primer: you select an assortment of veggies and meat and noodles from a salad bar-like selection and then you add some sauce and hand it over to one of the cooks sitting around large, round, drum-like flat top grills. They hand it back to you when they're done.) Fire & Ice does a good job of giving you a variety of options for your custom stir fry. It's an extremely large space, lots of tables, and is sort of casual with some modern decor. They also have a full bar.
Being from California where there are lots of better Mongolian BBQ places, this isn't at the top of my list, but is a solid choice, especially in the desert of good Asian food that is Boston.
