Can't recommend this place highly enough. Totally affordable tapas. We always tell the server to just have the chef keep sending out a variety of their favorite dishes and we'll tell them when to stop. A bit loud and kind of dark but lots of fun. Great Sangria!

My favorite thing about Firefly was definitely the mojitos and the ahi tuna tapas. Then cocktails will only run you eight dollars or less but if you get there for happy hour they are half price. Four dollars for a handmade muddled Mojito makes sharing small plates even more fun. I definitely recommend this spot when visiting Vegas.

This tapas bar, once a best-kept secret among locals, has gained popularity in recent years, in part due to its cheap pitchers of delicious sangria and affordable dining options. Bring a few friends to share in some of the house specialties, like stuffed peppers and bacon-wrapped dates.

Firefly is amazing. Unlike many Spanish Tapas restaurants that have only a handful of outstanding 'signature' dishes, Firelfy is excellent at almost everything. There is no need to ask what is good here because there are simply no wrong choices on the menu. You will be happy no matter what you order.

I can't believe how efficient the service was. Food came out so fast I almost suspect they were just reheating it. My suspicion quickly went away once I bited into the sinfully crispy bacon wrapped stuffed date. Everything on my plates was perfectly prepared. Tender meat cooked just right. Tasty sauce that compliments but not overwhelms. Let's not forget about the drinks. It was difficult to turn down their sangria. The only thing I wasn't too impressed was the desserts. Had their dessert platter. Nothing really stood out and I was definitely expecting a better tres leches.

It is impossible to find another restaurant in Vegas that would measure up to Firefly's quality and value. Food is very reasonably priced. Service was great. Not formal and fancy but down to earth and friendly. The restaurant is really big too so getting a table is not as hard as other popular places. I would eat here any day and skip all the overpriced mediocre restaurants on the strip. I wish SF bay area has a tapas place this great.

One of my favorites in Vegas!
Firefly is a restaurant one block off the strip that the locals flock to.
    The drinks are wonderful!
The Tapas menu is extensive and I have never had a bad meal here.
The atmosphere is sexy and the staff must be hand picked because there is not an ugly one in the bunch.
It is behind the Venitian/Palazzo and and taxi driver will know exactly where it is.

If you don't mind a short drive or taxi ride east of the Strip, this long-running local tapas bar and restaurant is always a fun social scene. Reasonable prices on tapas and jugs of house-made sangria are just part of the reason it's popular. Chic ambience, DJ nights and quick service also make it a star. You'll pay less for a meal for three people here than you would just for one on the Strip.

I've been recently been dubbed a "Vegas local" since I'm there 2~3 times a month. Unfortunately, as a "vegas local" and a foodie, I'm always tasked with finding great local restaurants off the strip... 1st reaction: freak out! 2nd reaction: pull up yelp app on my iPad! works everytime (not the freaking out part).

Food was absolutely AMAZING, service is very attentive, prices very reasonable. They do have a Happy Hour - drink specials only.

    Coming back very soon.

You know that Firefly is a legit place for sangria because they offer three types: red, white, and sparkling. I loved the sparkling because it was made with white wine and champagne, the fruit pieces even included blueberries. Sangria and tapas, can there be anything better? Some of the tapas that I have enjoyed:

    Stuffed Dates [5/5]
They were bacon wrapped and stuffed with a smoked almond and blue cheese. The dates were smaller compared to other places I've had them, but the flavor combination was amazing.

    Crispy Duck Roll [5/5]
Think of a giant egg roll stuffed with duck and served with cherry hoisin sauce. We knew this one would be amazing when we saw a yelp photo while waiting for our table ;)

    Tuna Tartare [4.5/5]
The marinated ahi tuna with avocado was great, but there were only two giant taro chips to compliment them, In pictures we saw, there for four chips. Not a big deal, just wished there were more taro chips!
The atmosphere is intimate and dark, a nice place for a date or a small group of friends. There’s an enclosed patio that look intimate (have not tried it yet).

Service was great and attentive, though the coffee cups are small, my friend needed a few refills - they should have left him the pot.

Parking might be hard to find, but not impossible. By the time we finished dinner there were taxis lined up. One limo driver even asked if we needed a ride home.

Pro tip: Make sure to make a reservation or you may have to wait a while for a table (no reservations on weekends though). Their waiting area is small and only consists of 4 chairs.

A great off-strip Tapas lounge where the locals go. Pitchers of fresh mojitos are a big hit, and the food is so good that the mood is always jubilant.

This is one of my all time favorite restaurant in Vegas, located behind the strip. Love the tapas and sangria's! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Get's real busy. restaurant and bar is small. Make reservations for big groups.

Off strip tapas eatery. Great value for food and sangrias. A LOT of choices. Great both eating alone and with groups. Service is efficient while the restaurant's atmosphere is friendly and laid back.

Really great food and drinks. A little off the strip, but it's worth it. Lot of locals frequent there so you know the consistency is upheld.

Description

This popular tapas bar is populated by a parade of pretty locals almost every night of the week. Music (downtempo to Latin house) competes with sangria-fuelled chatter, as small plates - scrumptious bacon-wrapped dates, mushroom tarts, shrimp ceviche - emerge from the busy kitchen. The loungey scene and reasonable prices conspire to let you spend as little or as much as you'd like.
