A cozy little cabin in the mountains. The location is beautiful; right next to the creek with a view down the valley. It is also perfectly situated to go see Karuru and Chania falls.
Water is piped in from the river, which is fine for showers, and the such, but better to bring enough water for consumption. There are two cabins which sleep seven each.
Park highlights include spectacular waterfalls, moorland scenery, and colorful flora. Over 250 species of birds and dozens of animal species to be seen on safari treks, including sykes’ and colobus monkey, leopards, lions, black rhinos, bushbuck, bush duiker, suni, serval, reedbuck, eland and rare bongo antelope. Activities include trout fishing, (fishing license available at the Park Gate), walking, trekking, and climbing.
Each cabin has three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have one double and one single bed and one bedroom has a single bed. Two ensuite bathrooms with hot water per cabin. Each cabin has a sitting room with a log fire and veranda. Each cabin has an open-plan dining area with another dining table and benches on the veranda. The kitchen is equipped with gas stove, kitchen utensils, cutlery, and glasses. Also provided is a caretaker, kerosene lamps, blankets, pillows, bed linen, towels, soap, and toilet tissue.
