The entrance to Five Cool Rooms isn't very obvious once in the reception/common areas are clean and presentable. The design is clean and modern but feels a bit forced and cold. The bedrooms are basic and have everything you need, and the terrace and reading room is great and has wonderful view. There's a private suite for those who are interested in basically having an area of the hotel to themselves. The hotel is a bit cheaper than other boutiques, though it's not very conducive to socializing. Still, it's a good bargain for the price, albeit a bit cold.Recommended for:

This place just lacked life. I couldn’t work it out. The roof terrace, which had a huge deck and jacuzzi, was an awesome space, but the entire establishment just lacked in energy and oomph. The small breakfast room, at the side of the roof terrace, was clean, but the buffet breakfast was pretty basic (no ham, cheese or eggs) for the prices that they charge. The guy on reception was nice enough, but again just lacking in life and energy. Trying to get information out of him with regards to what to do within the neighbourhood was so painfully difficult. This is a place to lay your head, no more, and for the price they charge it’s probably best to go somewhere cheaper.Recommended for:

Standing in front of a simple wooden door surrounded by graffitied walls, I figured I’d gotten the hotel’s address wrong. Or someone was playing a trick on me. After double-checking the address, I rang the doorbell and was quite surprised to wander into a neat lobby. Don’t be misled by this hotel’s hostel-sounding name or exterior: Five Cool Rooms is a nice hotel equipped with large, comfortable rooms, a lovely bayed breakfast area, a Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace, and innumerable cacti. I found the place incredibly clean, if not a bit impersonal, but the staff’s careful attention and eagerness was a definite plus. To de-stress after a long day, I recommend you take advantage of the hotel’s massage room and spa, and then hit one of the many bars or clubs in surrounding Palermo Soho.Recommended for:

Good place to come for a comfortable stay with a lower than average boutique hotel price. The rooms have everything you need and are pleasant with large comfy beds. The rooms are a little cramped though and the décor was a bit cold for my taste. The bathrooms do have bathtubs with bubble jets which I love!
From the outside the hotel doesn’t look much but isn’t the design is modern with cool Nordic touches. It’s clean and well-maintained. It doesn’t have a pool but there is a large Jacuzzi on the sleek roof terrace. There are tables and chairs up here where you can enjoy the views with a cocktail.
The breakfast room was a bit basic for me and had a bit of hostel feel. But still this place is a reasonably priced high-end option.

Five Cool Rooms is a nice place to stay if you want one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires for a reasonable price. It is less designy and stylish than nearby boutique hotels, but the prices are much more affordable, and it is nice, though the rooms are a bit basic.
The small room was quite small, just fitting the large bed, a corner cabinet, and a tv, but the medium room was more spacious and had a balcony with a street view and a jacuzzi tub. The medium room was a great deal for the location!
The hotel staff were helpful and nice. They have a huge, gorgeous terrace on the roof with lots of deck chairs for lounging and a hot tub. The breakfast room is on the roof as well. The lounge is nice and has lots of really cool local art. Downstairs there is a sauna and spa lounge with capacity for 2-3 people.
