Standing in front of a simple wooden door surrounded by graffitied walls, I figured I’d gotten the hotel’s address wrong. Or someone was playing a trick on me. After double-checking the address, I rang the doorbell and was quite surprised to wander into a neat lobby. Don’t be misled by this hotel’s hostel-sounding name or exterior: Five Cool Rooms is a nice hotel equipped with large, comfortable rooms, a lovely bayed breakfast area, a Jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace, and innumerable cacti. I found the place incredibly clean, if not a bit impersonal, but the staff’s careful attention and eagerness was a definite plus. To de-stress after a long day, I recommend you take advantage of the hotel’s massage room and spa, and then hit one of the many bars or clubs in surrounding Palermo Soho.

Good place to come for a comfortable stay with a lower than average boutique hotel price. The rooms have everything you need and are pleasant with large comfy beds. The rooms are a little cramped though and the décor was a bit cold for my taste. The bathrooms do have bathtubs with bubble jets which I love!
From the outside the hotel doesn’t look much but isn’t the design is modern with cool Nordic touches. It’s clean and well-maintained. It doesn’t have a pool but there is a large Jacuzzi on the sleek roof terrace. There are tables and chairs up here where you can enjoy the views with a cocktail.
The breakfast room was a bit basic for me and had a bit of hostel feel. But still this place is a reasonably priced high-end option.

Five Cool Rooms is a nice place to stay if you want one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires for a reasonable price. It is less designy and stylish than nearby boutique hotels, but the prices are much more affordable, and it is nice, though the rooms are a bit basic.
The small room was quite small, just fitting the large bed, a corner cabinet, and a tv, but the medium room was more spacious and had a balcony with a street view and a jacuzzi tub. The medium room was a great deal for the location!
The hotel staff were helpful and nice. They have a huge, gorgeous terrace on the roof with lots of deck chairs for lounging and a hot tub. The breakfast room is on the roof as well. The lounge is nice and has lots of really cool local art. Downstairs there is a sauna and spa lounge with capacity for 2-3 people.
