It is a very nicely restored bar, however it feels a bit disconnected from the real Cuba, daiquiris are good but really overpriced... Music was very good & there is a very nice bronze statue of Hemingway sitting in the bar. Rumour is that his personal record of daiquiri consumption was 12 glasses... & If you can break Hemingway's record you can have the 13th glass for free... :)

The claim to fame here is the daiquiri. While good it is not great and it is super overpriced. The music is touristy, and the service is horrible. However the bar is beautifully restored so that it feels as it may have when Hemingway actually did frequent it, and there are some cool pictures on the wall to check out, including a good one of Hemingway whispering in a young Castro's ear.

El Floridita is the spot where Ernest Hemingway had his daiquiris when he was living in Cuba. A nice bar/restaurant where of course they serve the best Daiquiris in Cuba. A must on every tourist's list when visiting Habana.
