Disney’s BoardWalk complex brings together restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops, with great people- (and character-) watching. Among the hubbub, look for the flashing neon sign that encourages diners to enter the Flying Fish Café, inspired by Coney. The famous Cyclone roller coaster is reflected in hand-painted murals and the wavy-shaped booth backs. Keep your eye on the cloud-painted ceiling as the stars twinkle. If you reserve a seat at the chef’s counter, you can watch the action firsthand as the chefs prepare signature dishes like the potato-wrapped red snapper and the char-crusted New York strip steak.Recommended for:Family Travelers

If you are able to swing it, I recommend splurging on the chef's dinner. You have to make reservations as there are only a few seats. You sit away from the other patrons right in front of the kitchen so you can watch what is going on. The chef comes out and explains every course and they pair a wine for each course. They take a picture with you and the chef at the end and he signs the menu. The food was extraordinary and it was fun to learn about the different wines.

Flying Fish Cafe is a seafood restaurant opening in the evenings and located on the boardwalk between Disney's Beach Club and Boardwalk resorts. Although it is primarily seafood, you will also find poultry, vegetarian offerings, and beef.
Requests to dine near the kitchen where you can view the food preparation can be made at the podium.
The atmosphere is a little noisy. I wouldn't consider this a quiet place to dine.
We always enjoy a meal here. It has been consistent over the years.
One of my favorites is the potato crusted snapper.
After dinner you can get some sweets at the candy door next to Flying Fish Cafe or head down to the bakery for some delicious offerings.
