Folk Art Park

Ralph McGill Blvd NE & Courtland St. NE
1 review

The Folk Art Park and its sculptures were erected as part of the city's overhaul for the 1996 Olympics. The park includes large-scale installations, murals and colorful life-size sculptures. In recent years, the city has been making a push to raise money to renovate the park and update the artists works.

    West Egg Cafe

2.16 mi from Folk Art Park

Tucked away on the corner of Howell Mill Road, West Egg Cafe is one of the more popular brunch spots in the city. Make sure you come here early as this place can get pretty crowded on the weekends. With an outdoor patio, indoor coffee and pastry counter and vintage photo booth there's a lot of charm at West Egg. ...

LOVE this place. Great gourmet southern food. Not too outrageously priced. The pork tenderloin and sweet potato dish is to die for. The restaurant is a bit noisy, bu still a fun scene. One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta.

    Fellini's Pizza

2.88 mi from Folk Art Park
    4 reviews

Fellini's has a couple locations around Atlanta and while it may not be a five star gourmet experience, it's a fun and inexpensive place to take the family for pizza and sit out on the patio. Obviously the pizza is great, but the salads are pretty decent portions and offer a healthy alternative if you need one.

MJQ is hands down my favorite spot to dance in Atlanta. It is every bit as dingy as one might expect a subterranean nightclub to be, but if you can look past that, you'll be rewarded with inexpensive drinks, great live music and an eclectic crowd that's not afraid to get down. Wednesday nights there is no cover charge for ...

    Veni Vidi Vici

1.6 mi from Folk Art Park

This beautiful Italian restaurant in Midtown is a perfect romantic date spot. It's not too big, so the servers are always aware of what's going on at your table, but I've never felt like they pushed me to finish up quickly so that they could seat other guests. Very authentic Italian flavors--the calamari and the zuppa di mare is amazing. ...

Some of the best coffee in town! Wonderful atmosphere but can get a bit crowded on weekends. They offer hot and cold drinks as well as beer and wine. Local artists display their art there.

    Rosa Mexicano Atlanta

2.09 mi from Folk Art Park
    5 reviews

Oh Rosa Mexicano...why must you have the most amazing pomegranite margaritas but charge me for ordering chips and salsa? I want to give you a better review, but this is the South, and in the South the chips and salsa had better be complimentary. However, I adore your margs, so I will award you two stars.

Behind a long glass case, rows of prepared foods including salmon cakes, Caprese salad and whipped sweet potatoes tempt your eyes and stomach. Or head over to the sandwich and salad area where you can select from a number of delicious menu items or customize your own. There's also a wonderful selection of desserts and cheeses and a few tables ...

Good burger, if you are willing to shell out $20 for a meal. Organic and local which is good but this place is really hyped up. Go for lunch on a weekday for a short line. Try the bison.

I went to Woodfire grill on a recent business trip to Atlanta and I was so excited to try Kevin's restaurant (Top Chef Season 6). Maybe my expectations were too high because of Top Chef but the food was not at the caliber I was expecting. The restaurant itself is lovely with a great atmosphere. We had 3 appetizers, a ...
