The Fontana Park is a very stylish designer hotel. When I first entered, it reminded me a lot of some of the more modern hotels you come across in Japan. And in fact, keeping with the somewhat ‘Asian’ theme to this hotel, there is a sushi restraint here for you to enjoy. The standard rooms are quite spacious, and the award-winning bathrooms are very large. On the ground floor, just off the main lounge area, there’s a lovely garden, with streams of water cascading down the outside wall. The ambiance here is very relaxing. The hotel has 139 rooms and two suites, two restaurants (including the sushi one) and a very easygoing and helpful staff. All the rooms, no matter the size, come with the standard conveniences, like a safe for your valuables, and a stocked minibar. The black hallways might take you off guard when you first walk into (and down) them. The corridors leading to the rooms are totally black, which can throw off your sense of perspective a little bit, but they do fit in nicely with the overall aesthetic of the hotel.

This hotel has a very modern, sleek design to the lobby and reception area on the first floor. The décor includes dark flooring and mostly dark furniture as well with pops of bold color like purple and green. The décor definitely gives this hotel a very hip vibe to it which is accentuated with the young hotel staff. The hotel employs students at the nearby hospitality program and so the service is not that polished and the staff seems quite unsure and under informed on the hotel policies, creating a disconnect between the hotel service and the posh designed hotel. While the hotel does not have its own gym facility, they have an agreement with the nearby Sheraton and offer discounts to hotel guests.Recommended for:Trendsters

The hotel looks nice, the breakfast is really good and the bed really comfortable with many pillows!!!!!!!!!!!
But I had a hard time with the black walls and floor of bathroom and room, makes it really dark. It's a really good hotel, really helpful and friendly staff.

**PLEASANT STAY ALL-AROUND**
The staff was very friendly, all smiles and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and we were pleasantly surprised that white robes with slippers were laid out for our use! Nice touch!
I loved the fact that there were six pillows on the bed. YES.
Breakfast provided each morning were plentiful and good quality. The fruits were sweet and fresh and the pastries were delicious!
Fontana definitely aims to PLEASE! I love the lobby, I want those cool chairs. During Happy Hour, they provided FREE SUSHI, can't beat that! Liked the DJ music and the beautiful patio/terrace. Simply awesome.
We love the fact that a cool hotel like this exists in Lisbon. Great find and will stay again if we return.
