Famous for its bacon donuts, I can attest all of their donuts (and other food) rank high. The raspberry-filled donut is great!! A lovely special occasion restaurant in downtown Ft. Myers, minutes from the house. Located in a lovely old building, the Veranda is more formal than most of the restaurants downtown. We have enjoyed the food and service, but save this for that more formal occasion. Down town Ft. Myers. Another great place for a top notch burger. This place is casual with hundreds of beers to choose from. A sister restaurant is the Firestone just around the corner which is more upscale and also has a roof top bar overlooking the area.
