The best of the little cities. I spent so much time there growing up. My high school proms were there. I love the malls, and I love the costume shop right down town. I wish I could remember the name of it. The only thing that ever bugged me about Fort Wayne was that it flooded every spring and we all had to go and help bag sand to try and save the special spots.

Fort Wayne is a growing medium sized town with a population of about a quarter million people. It was incorporated in 1829, and named after the Revolutionary War Hero, General Mad Anthony Wayne (one of General George Washington's favorite officers).

Not too big, not too small, the second largest city in Indiana. Only second in size to the capitol Indianapolis, Fort Wayne features everything you'd want from a busy city life but without the overwhelming size of a city you can't get away from. The reasonable surrounding areas are full of places to live with an easy commute into the city. The surrounding I-469 makes is a breeze to get from one side to the other and nothing is ever further than 15-20min away, conveniences such as grocery stores and fast food are only minutes away.
