on the "cowboy" creating cattle driving express. Modern Fort Worth is sometimes thought of as just a sort of second rate Dallas, but the city has much to offer visitors, and has maintained it's cowboy spirit with more authenticity than it's better known neighbor. There are various cowboy related attractions and museums, and, adding a very much appreciated bit of political correctness to the term, there is even an expansive National Cowgirl Museum here, honoring the lives of the lesser discussed female presence in this rugged period of history. Many visitors experience this city during a brief stop-over at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, but if you have any time between flights, there are numerous restaurants and attractions across the city that will make even the most extensive of layovers seem like insufficient time to explore everything here.
