Great food and attentive service, from handling our canceled reservation to putting food in front of us. We ended up getting there just before closing and ordering mostly from the bar menu. Everything was great, including the drinks. The chef brought a few chocolates as we were leaving, and they were phenomenal. I only wish I lived closer.

Bistro du Midi offers an elegant, warm and romantic environment and some of the most delicious dishes and drinks you could ever want. I had the Coral Infused Tagliatelle, with Poached Maine Lobster, Chanterelles, Grapefruit and a Vanilla Lobster Emulsion. Sounds fancy, right? Because it is. At another restaurant, you might question the choice of putting grapefruit in a pasta ...Popular withFoodiesLuxury

Storybook swank meets Beantown beauty. Inspired by the Wizard of Oz, Emerald promises sleek scenery, eerily cool lighting, just enough kitsch, and not enough hours in a Boston night. The music is typically upbeat house, perfect for dancing. As for the drinks, I'm enchanted with the Lavender Sparkler, but they also make a wicked Manhattan. The service is some of ...Popular withStudentsTrendstersNightlife

The great oval bar that makes drink-ordering a snap, their delicious cocktails, the friendly staff, and the shiny bathroom conveniently located by the entrance that makes cleaning-up after walking sweatily around muggy Boston-in-a-heat-wave only to meet up with two attractive females at this bar easier. But what the heck, they ordered garlic fries. Mmm. Pungent.

Elegant decor, central location and fine Italian foods that challenges the crown of North End. This is definitely a special occasion or a date night destination. We came here for an early Christmas eve dinner and was thoroughly impressed. The interior is softly lighted, with decors that brings you back a few hundred years, with the scholarly elegance of Da ...Popular withFoodiesLuxury

Such a treat! The Afternoon Tea at Taj Boston has been a tradition since the hotel's opening in 1927. A wide selection of fine teas and herbals. There is salty and sweet treats. Highly recommended.Popular withLuxury

"IT'S SO YUMMY!" I feel like Agnes hugging her ever so fluffy unicorn. But seriously, the food at Montien is exceptionally good. We went with the traditional menu (ask for the blue menu!), craving for some authenticlicious thai food. From appetizers to main dishes, from the savory flavor to the sauce, pretty much everything was spot-on and not far from ...Popular withFoodies

Fancy restaurant in downtown Boston. We went there for Christian's dad's 75th birthday dinner. The restaurant is in a beautiful building with tall ceiling and seating was comfortable. We shared gnocchi (delicious) and I had ribeye steak (super tender and flavorful). Recommended for special occasion.

I stumbled upon this place when some friends and I were staying at the Liberty Hotel and were craving some late night food. I have to say, they serve surprisingly good food for a restaurant that serves food until 1am. It's not upscale by any means but yummy for sure. I highly recommend the nachos. Our group of 4 took ...

Did a business lunch there. Really good food and plenty of it with a nice ambience. When I went, it wasn't very crowded which helped us have a nice conversation without it being too loud. Great location (on Newbury St), pretty close to the T which made it easy for me to get there.

Quincy Market is one of the best places to spend an afternoon in Boston and enjoy lunch from an astounding collection of non commercial "order to go" restaurants. After lunch, wander outside Quincy Market to watch skilled street performers or do a little shopping at Faneuil Hall Marketplace before the sun sets.Popular withFoodiesLocalFamilies
