The Four Seasons did it right!! The old Four Seasons is now the Fairmont hotel. They picked a better location and made everything modern and spectacular.

This hotel is small but stupendous. Everything about it is tasteful and serene. You feel instantly calm as you enter the cool foyer. There's an infinity pool on the roof and a gorgeous view of the water and the Seattle skyline. The rooms are well-appointed, with meltingly comfy beds and TVs embedded in the bathroom mirror. Location is walking distance to downtown and Pike's Place.

Smaller than other Four Seasons but service is still wonderful. Outdoor pool is amazing when it's summer in Seattle.

What’s not to love about a hotel that spoils the heck out of you? Gorgeous rooftop pool that overlooks the Puget Sound, and there’s even a bar and grill up there – the frozen grapes and sorbet are free. Seriously, in the summer I could just spend the whole day on that roof. And the rooms - marble floors, giant tubs to soak in, rainforest shower heads - and even smaller details, like the chilled towels in the fitness room. It’s hard to force yourself to even leave your room!

But when you do, there’s lots of stuff around to choose from. The art museum is just across the street. If you want to hear live music, I recommend checking out The Triple Door - really cool venue and the lounge and bar is awesome as well. One of my favorite Italian restaurants is just a few blocks away in Pioneer Square - Bengodi, on 1st avenue. It’s a tiny restaurant with some of the best bruschetta and polenta I’ve ever had.

Total luxury. Checking in and out is super quick; the staff is quite hospitable, and the concierge really knows his stuff if you need help. Great views, especially if you can get one that faces the Puget Sound - but if you don’t, just go hang out on the roof (there’s a bar!).

Very much what you expect from a Four Seasons - pricey, but very modern and comfortable. Loved the in-mirror TV in the bathroom, because hey, who doesn’t want to watch TV when you’re taking a bath? Speaking of the bathroom, it’s pretty much enormous, and the room too. The beds are (of course) seriously comfortable. Most rooms have some sort of view - in my opinion, the water view is better than the city view, so that’s something to consider.

Really wish the wifi was free - the more expensive the hotel, the stingier it is to charge for Internet. The service at the hotel is great though. And the location is pretty much as good as you can ask for - you can get to the waterfront fast by heading down the Harbor Steps, Pike Place Market is just down the street, and it’s pretty close to Pioneer Square, too.
