Very dated property and interior, a bit like one of those down-at-heel Hyatts you might find in some U.S. cities. The service unremarkable and lacking in charm. On the plus side, our suite had a great view and was comfortable.

This is a nice property with a good location in the center of the business district. The rooms were quite large and the views of the Opera House (from a Harbor View room) were quite nice. The main lobby is a little dated but still attractive.

Housekeeping, bell staff, concierge and front desk staff were all what I would expect at a Four Seasons; however, the service in the main restaurant was quite poor. Wait staff at dinner were rude and were visibly annoyed that I wasn't having a large dinner. Service at both breakfast and dinner was minimal / unattentive.

With respect to breakfast, this is one of those places that is clearly used to having most guests select the buffet. As a result, they aren't used to paying attention to a la carte guests. It took forever to get a menu and my order took a very long time to arrive. Coffee was also re-filled infrequently. If I were to stay here again, I'd request that they leave a pot on the table.

I would not choose this property vs. other hotels that I have visited in Sydney. With the AUD as strong as it is, it is fairly poor value for the money.

A great Sydney hotel in an even better location. I didn't pay for my night so can't comment on rates (but safe to say there is better value across Sydney).

Location was exceptional, unbeatable even, but the hotel itself -- meh. And it's a Four Seasons! I expected more.

We had a wonderful room, and had a dinner to remember here at the Four Seasons. The service of the staff and attention to detail was fabulous.

This should be a 4.5 star rating. It was a lovely hotel to get over jet-lag in and had fantastic old dark wood carved furniture. Service was fabulous, I'm sure, if unmemorable (once you're at a Four Seasons you expect greatness). If I hadn't also stayed at the Park Hyatt at the end of the trip, this one would have gotten 5 stars.
