It's called the Gore Range Suite. What about it makes you feel more like royalty? Is it the fireplace crackling in the stone hearth? Is it the dining room table of chocolate brown that seats ten? Is it the claw foot tub for two with remote control TV on the mirror? Probably all of the above and most of all the poise with which the staff tastefully ignore your awe at the splendor of it all.Recommended for:

A standout in a town known for its sophistication, a mountain resort with international name recognition, the Four Seasons Resort Vail embodies those very characteristics. From the front entrance overlooking a flurry of multinational flags, down to the full-service spa, the hotel personifies understated elegance. It debuted in December 2010 and has been exceptionally well-received. Architecturally unique, with Euro-style, it blends into and embraces the village. The lobby and public spaces are on the 5th floor and have an upscale, lodge ambiance - especially the Fireside Lounge, après ski. The creative twist to the Vailatian décor is that it is punctuated with large scale art, notably colorful glass installations. Outdoors, bear sculptures are backdrops for photo ops and kids’ scavenger hunts. Family-friendly, the day care center is complementary, the teen center highly-techified. The hotel salutes all four seasons from its slope-side, four-story ski concierge that electronically outfits guests with equipment to innovative activities like autumn’s “Mushrooms & Mercedes” excursions. Guests are chauffeured in Mercedes to hunt wild mushrooms along with an expert.Recommended for:

its gorgeous, opened less than a year ago. There’s a very nice high end steak house there. It’s right at the gateway to Vail. So as you enter the village it’s this striking village. It’s the Four Seasons, they’re known for amazing service, food and beverage.Recommended for:
