    Kooka Boora

Nice modern coffee shop with good outdoor seating. Very American /Aussie in style -- a good place for a cookie or brownie fix.

I absolutely love this place, it's a must go. My favorite flavor ever is pistachio, you have to try it at least once ! (but I promise you will come back for more :D)

Possibly the best hot chocolate in the world. It's made even better if you have a friend with you to share a whole pitcher!

    Le Relais de l'Entrecôte

    25 reviews

Come here with an appetite (for steak frites) - and early. When I went, the doors opened at 7:00PM. I walked up at 7:04 and there was a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. The only thing you can technically order is your drink. CASH ONLY if I remember correctly.

    L'As Du Fallafel

    36 reviews

I had my first fallafel here and it was delicious. Totally recommend it. Pretty popular place in the Marais area. I highly recommend getting your fallafel to go. The place is pretty small and always busy- hmm...I wonder why?! :)

    Eiffel Tower

    11 reviews

Does one really review the Eiffel Tower?? All I can say is that my first look at the Tower was when it was shimmering at night (every hour or so), and it was breathtaking. So much more powerful at night.

    Café de Flore

    27 reviews

Yes it's an overpriced tourist trap, but I still love it and there's no better place to go for an after dinner espresso, or an after dinner Irish coffee--(the baileys is added table side).

    Le Ciel de Paris

    6 reviews

One of the best places to see the sunset, city view, and Eiffel Tower. Come here for sunset, and you'll be amazed at the view and the city. The bar staff is friendly and they don't pressure you if you just sit at the bar for a drink while you watch and wait for the Eiffel Tower lights to come ...

    Pierre Hermé

There are several Pierre Herme stores in Paris. Some may argue that the original store in the Saint-Germain des Prés area should be THE one to visit. For me, there is something to be said about admiring (and eating of course) beautifully and deliciously created macrons AND macrons bonbons...and then stroll down the street to see the most beautiful store ...

    Les Deux Magots

    30 reviews

Not only does it have an incredible history as the old hangout of figures like Picasso and Hemingway, but the entire experience is memorable. The food was among the best I've had Paris, especially the desserts! Guaranteed to be a meal you won't soon forget.

    Buddha Bar

OK, for some folks, this might be a little more touristy than hip, but I had a really fun time here. It's a ridiculously spectacular nightclub that doubles as an excellent restaurant during early evening hours. What's fun is to time your dinner late enough to watch the transition from one to another - a place of refined elegance and ...

Beautiful and delicious! You can choose as many flavors as you can fit and they make it into a rose! Try the chocolate in the center with cinnamon petals! Heavenly!

    Boulangeries Paul

    19 reviews

Paul is a popular bakery featured throughout Paris. Paul does have their own little bakeries, but you'll often see Paul at stands in the metro. It's convenient if you're in transit and need to grab something quick and delicious to eat.

    Le Chateaubriand

    9 reviews

Recently rated one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, this is a great place: "It's hard not to be excited by Le Chateaubriand. It is effortlessly cool, understated yet accomplished, democratic, affordable and, perhaps most importantly, fun. Its lack of airs and graces – hard chairs and bare tables, the take-it-or-leave-it five-course fixed-price menu and the championing of ...

    L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon

    10 reviews

Be prepared to sit at the bar, because I'm fairly certain there are no tables in this left bank hot spot, but the food is divine.

    La Palette

43 rue de Seine. Very cool place that might look old, but the patina has wonderful memories and the owner is also very nice. I really liked this place for a cozy coffee or drinks and the sausages and mash, and listening to art students talk about their ideas.

    Restaurant Guy Savoy

    9 reviews

How this can be rated anything but 5 stars is beyond me. Best dining experience of my life. The food was amazing and service somehow better.
